This analysis is from the movie, “Blind Side”. There are many concepts of Interpersonal Communication included in this film. Self Concept, Self Esteem, Stereotype, Perception, and Stages of Relationship are just a few concepts that are utilized throughout this movie.
Information plays an important role in the way we interact with each other and the world we share with other members of the planet. We depend on information for guidance, protection, companionship and nearly all aspects of our daily interactions. Verbal communication is considered has written and oral words we share or exchange with others, for instance, the conversation we have with our friends online, co-workers during lunch, messages to our significant other, etc. Effective verbal communication is dependent on various factors which include but not limited to the following: pronunciation (accents), dialects, clarity, speed and non-verbal clues, during most interactions the initial words or information shared will determine the outcome of that interaction. Our daily conversations are mostly based on the current happening, our specific job role. Etc., I have documented my verbal interaction for a day and I aim to share that information in relation to the most and least frequently language functions used.
