I remember the first time I ever went to elementary school and I was scared out my mind. I really didn't want to go. I tried to run out but my uncle chip grabbed me before i could make it out the school. School was fun but I always wanted to stay home and chill.I didn't recall any favorite moments in elementary school. A perfect day for me in elementary school was me getting in trouble and didn't have to do any work. My first fight was in 1st grade and the kid tried to bite me. I remember he was super black, tall, skinny, and fast. The kid wasn't very strong but he was just fast. We both got in trouble and we had to say sorry to each other.
My only memory of first grade is learning cursive and having far worse handwriting than other classmates. Probably my favorite memory from elementary school is recess and playing with friends. Middle school came around and was probably the first time I was really nervous to go to school, but by the end I realized how fun it was and all the trouble I got into. Before school every started for me I enjoyed playing outside climbing trees. Every time fall came around I looked forward to jumping in piles of leaves, carving pumpkins and halloween. In 8th grade I started skiing which is my favorite winter hobby. The first time I went on a airplane was last year(2016) when we went to Florida then took a cruise to the Bahamas. I'm hate spiders and snakes especially big snakes and spiders. One of my favorite memories as a child is when went on a short vacation in New Hampshire and stayed in a really cool cabin with a stream behind it that made for the best sleep ever. Another time I went to New Hampshire was with my Aunt and Uncle and we stayed in a house they own near Hampton Beach, which was the first time I ever went to a big beach. In 6th grade my family and my friends family went to the Damariscotta Lake State Park almost every day and had barbecue chicken on the regular, along with hamburgers and hotdogs. We also went to the majority of state parks in Maine because we got a state park pass book and there is a challenge in it to get a stamp
I did not mind going to school at that age. It was not bad. Well, it was easy at least. I used to play wall-ball every day at recess. I loved that game so much I would be dying to play every single day. I would even stay after school to play. By fourth grade I had bought my own ball and my friends and I would go play on the weekends. One time, when my friends and I were going down to the school to play wall-ball on a weekend. I had an awful fall on my skateboard. We were about a block away from the school and there was a tuna can in the crack between the grass and the sidewalk. Part of it was sticking out and one wheel of my skateboard clipped it. My board came to a sudden stop and I flew forward. I smacked my face on the ground chipping my two front teeth. My teeth would remain chipped for about a year and a half until I got it fixed. It did not bother me at all. I’m sure it would have when I got older though so I am glad my dad made me get it fixed. Another fond memory of my elementary school career was when my PE teacher Ms. Lozano, gave me a Saint Christopher necklace. She was my fifth grade PE teacher and was one of my favorite teachers. She had a son who had passed away two years before I had her as a teacher. Around the time when he had passed away every year she was very emotional. One day she pulled me aside and handed me a brown and green St. Christopher necklace that I still have till this day. She told me that it was her
So, far sixth grade has been quite interesting for me. First, I will tell you about my personality. Next, I will tell you special learning traits I have. Last, I will tell you my goals for sixth grade. You are going to know a lot about me when you are done reading my essay.
The beginning of elementary school was hard without knowing a lot of English, because in my family we just talked in Spanish but I watched television in English so I knew a couple of words. I still remember the first thing we did in class, it was writing our name on a paper, then trace it with glue the cover it with glitter. I loved going to Miller the elementary school I went to because in our school, we had the same teacher for two years. My first grade teacher was Mrs.Hall and I still remember I had two best friends in that class, funny thing was there both name was Jose so the teacher called them Jose P. And Jose M.. Everyday talking about our favorite shows and about soccer. In 2nd grade I still was friends with everyone in the class
Elementary and middle school was a very interesting experience for me. The school I attended from kindergarten to 8th grade was a diverse school. I had a lot of ups and downs while going there. Overall being there allowed me to grow as a person and introduced me to different things. It also help me achieve high in academics.
Throughout elementary school, 4th grade - 6th grade was a very eventful one. I was a troubled kid through these years, I was constantly getting written up or getting a punishment. I actually don’t know how I passed, I was always being smart to the the teacher or talking while the teacher was talking. I got plenty of Saturday schools, which is where you have to come to school early Saturday morning and stay for several hours. Eventually, I got my first suspension in 5th grade in Mis.Hammer’s class. I always remembering seeing the older kids that were a grade ahead, I knew a lot of them from the park I lived in. I remember being in Ms.Cholkas art class. We were working on our artwork, and the class was always loud and somewhat chaotic (that happens when you mix paint and little kids).
The smell of Crayola crayons and old paperback books wafted through the room as I walked into my first grade class on my first day of school in the United States after moving from Costa Rica which granted me temporary comfort. My classmates busily hustled around me as I shuffled over to my seat. I clumsily plopped into the dark blue plastic chair at my desk. I momentarily enjoyed the bliss of coloring before the boy next to me introduced himself and said he liked my shirt. I stumbled to reply and when I finally formulated an answer it left my mouth with jumbled structure as I said, “I like your shirt green.” At the time, my English was not very good. I had trouble speaking and forming sentences in the correct order in English. The boy noticed
Elementary was back when I didn't really know what was going on all that was on my mind back then was recess and the bell ringing as we all scurried to our bus to get home. I had a lot of friends and life was good i mean who didn't love their childhood. But what i didn't realize was that some of the friends
Elementary school was a lot of fun growing up. In those quick six years I made my childhood friends and remember many of the field trips to different museums, farms, and nursing homes. Field trips, playing on the playground, sitting with friends at lunch, and having a different exploratory class everyday are specifically the things
Messy hair, dirty nails, unlimited friends, imaginations with no limit, and zero worries; Elementary school was an absolute ball. Elementary is a bit of a blur for most as it feels like a lifetime ago, but I remember it pretty well. I attended a school right around the corner from my house in Fontana from Pre-K to the 4th grade, until my family and I moved to Eastvale where I had to take a bus every day for 30 minutes each trip just to get to and from school. And I absolutely loved it. I loved the idea of being the “new girl,” and I wanted to meet new people. Fifth grade may very well be my favorite year. My 5th grade teacher was Mrs. Warhop, and I was what everyone would call the “teacher’s pet.” As
1st grade: First grade was hell. They decided to split me and my best friend up into 2 different classes and in made me hate the system. I had no idea why they would do something like that, it felt like torture. This also set me up to hate my teacher. Over all I'm sure she would have been great, and I did learn a lot in her class, but I was determined to hold a grudge against her. This year felt like it took forever to get over with.
My first favorite school memory was in eighth grade. I was in chorus and we were going on a trip to Massachusetts with the band for a competition. I was super excited and couldn’t wait to sell all of my tickets. When the day finally came I was so excited. We rode in a coach bus which was really cool because I’ve never been in one before. When we arrived in Massachusetts we headed over to where we were having the competition. The competition was being held at a really big school. We performed and sounded really good. I was super nervous I didn’t want to mess up since I had never done that before.
Elementary school memories still run vividly through my mind from time to time. Grade School was the one stable environment that was holding my childhood together. I remember school being the place where I didn’t worry about the craziness of my life at home. It was in elementary school where I transformed from a lost little girl into a confident young lady ready to tackle her future.
I went to elementary school at Carleston Elementary. This was probably one of the simplest times of my life; I didn’t even know what stress felt like. However one of the most life changing and tragic events happened during this time. When I was in fourth grade my cousin and god brother passed away. I was so confused I never realized how quickly a loved one could be
When I was five, I started my first day of school, which was kindergarten. On the first day, I was slightly intimidated, but then when I went a couple more times, I made friends, I read books, and I learned how to write. My teacher’s name was Mrs. King. Thankfully, she was an amazing teacher who was kind and sweet. I recall faking falling asleep during naptime just so I could acquire a piece of candy. She gave me the candy even though she knew I didn’t doze off.
