Don’t Judge someone before you meet them
I read to book with my group. The book were Each Kindness and Enemy Pie.The theme of both books was don’t jump to conclusion, but the approach to teaching the theme was both similar and different.Let’s start with the similar.
There are many similarities to how the author shows the theme. In both books the characters both don’t like a person before getting to know them. In the book Each Kindness Chloe doesn’t like Maya a new kid in school before meeting her.And in the book Enemy Pie a kid doesn’t like Jeremy before he meets him.Another similarity is that in both stories there is an adult to help them realize their mistake. In Each Kindness Ms,Albert the teacher helps Chloe realize her mistake by showing the
The first similarity is that both of the novels are written by Negro slave. They described the cruel experience in southern plantation and escape from the southern slavery to northern freedom.
In any genuine friendship there are the differences between the people that spark curiosity, yet, it is similarities that draw two together to form a tight bond. This is evident in the friendship that starts between Vivian and Molly. Vivian, from outward show, does not display the slightest similarity with Molly. It is not until one examines the often tragic back stories of both that striking parallels begin to be made clear. By the time all is uncovered, the likenesses shared between Vivian and Molly far outweigh any disparities. In examining the relationship between Vivian and Molly, a perfect balance is struck in Orphan Train by Christina Baker Kline.
The last similarity I will talk about was the theme that things are not always as good as they may seem at first. In “Flowers for Algernon”, Charlie got an operation to make him smarter. It greatly increased his intelligence for a while, but then Charlie regressed back to his original low intelligence level. In Awakenings, when they use the drug L-Dopa, all the

Many books have shared values and themes but like A Separate Peace and The Kite Runner. They both share common themes and writing techniques. They share imagery, metaphors, sarcasm and irony. The spirit and mood of the book have similar ways they make the character grow and evolve. Both books have common techniques they use to let the character move on and grow to do something better and more hopeful with their lives. They both use friendship, warfare, and conflict of identity to help their characters grow.
These two short stories have many similarities, although they have different themes and are set in different points of the character’s lives. Brother Dear is set as a young teenagers point of view, where as The Charmer is set as an adult looking back on her life. The two stories have characters that learn life changing lessons which they have used to help them. Sharlene learns that she can do what she wants, and Winnie learns how she should treat her children. There are many traits of the story to compare to the other. In each of the stories, Brother Dear and The Charmer, there are many similarities and differences represented through character traits, lessons, and conflicts.
Another similarity in the stories is both of the characters are about their life styles and reasons for their actions. Emily and Matt are both seeking revenge. Matt murders Richard and Emily murders Homer out of revenge. Both character are strong and do what needs to be done. They are the same
One similarity is that they both aimed to study friendships in children and to also provide a persuasive explanation into this. A further similarity was in their methods used for measuring their research, as both initially used a qualitative approach.
Similarities between these stories are that there are two young boys having a conflict with their family, and they both were caused by a misunderstanding. Another example is that both of these misunderstandings happened in the author's childhood. They both

There are many books, written by numerous authors, containing similar themes and elements. Two such stories fitting that description are Angela’s Ashes and The Street. The former takes place in Ireland and is written by Frank McCourt; the latter is set in New York and is written by Ann Petry. The characters seem like they would not have much, if anything, in common. Frank McCourt’s main character is a child, born into a large, impoverished family; Petry’s is a single mother trying to get by. Additionally, their geographical locations and the cultures in each place vary greatly. However, their stories are similar in the fact that both characters have relating struggles. The primary theme of each of their stories is close to identical. Both
