As for the cultural explanation, many cultural factors in the context of exit caused the high academic achievement of Chinese Americans. First, the homeland cultures affect Chinese Americans a lot. Therefore, in order to satisfy their parents, many Chinese American children would try their best to get the highest scores. Besides that, Chinese American children have high academic achievement because their parents force them to attend the after-school tutoring. According to the professor said, in Hong Kong, many after-schools are established for helping students to study. For instance, the King's Glory Education, as an after-school, helps many Hong Kong students to study. With the assistances of the after-schools, the Hong Kong students usually have better academic performance. As a result, many Chinese parents migrated to America would also force their Chinese American students to attend the after-school tutoring. Besides that, the advertisements of private afterschools in Asian places also reinforce the values of education among Chinese parents. For instance, the words written on the advertisements of private afterschools usually encourage the Chinese parents to let their Chinese or Chinese American children attending their study courses.
