On November 7, 2016 the world witnessed unprecedented history when Donald Trump won enough electoral votes to become President-elect of the United States of America. The majority of Americans were shocked at his victory. Many political scientists predicted Hilary Clinton to become victorious according to voting polls. Unfortunately, Donald Trump in the months leading to election day had won important democratic states like Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, and Michigan. Donald Trump’s campaign message was very unorthodox and was something we had never seen before. His rhetoric speech and written messages on twitter influenced the decisions of many Americans. Even though he appealed to many white working class voters he had little support from minorities.
Trump is a name with a lot of history and a lot of connotation that only continues to grow as Donald Trump runs his presidential campaign. With all the backing that he proclaims, Trump still shows alarming qualities for a man that could be rising to power. He shows inconsistency which alludes to a weakness of character that makes him a poor presidential candidate. He is widely known for his aggressive arrogant ideas, which appeals to come people, but major concern arises from Trump being unable to defend his own ideas and, when he is questioned about them, he turns tail and flip-flops his opinions. Being able to clearly and concisely present ideas and then defend them seems like an elementary concept of how to build a solid platform, yet it
Does President Donald J. Trump deserve to be impeached after his first year in office? To answer the previous question first contemplate over what is a president and what makes a good one? According to Merriam-Webster, a president is “the chief officer of an organization usually entrusted with the direction and administration of its policies. (pg.1)” An adequate president is a person that can build a team, create culture, discipline, discipline others, and that knows how to organize. The current president was born on June 14, 1946, in Queens, New York. Previously, Trump was a real estate mogul, entrepreneur, and billionaire and does not have any experience in the political field. Being or becoming a businessman would take a various amount of leadership and social skills, but how does Donald Trump remain the president today with all the ruthless offenses and lack of experience? This candidate would not be qualified as a good president due to his reckless determinations, upsurges and he simply does not meet the requirements.
There are any reasons why hillary clinton should have won. Im am going to state only a few reasons why donald trump should have lost. Hillary even won the popular vote and still lost the election to a rapist a sexist and a racist. And the many other horrible things that donald trump is. Donald trump violates a lot of the constitution not letting people have the same rights. Deporting people who are citizens just because they look wrong to him. He's a jerk and bully he doesn't care what other people want just what he wants. When he says he will “make america great again” no it should be he will “make america bad again”. All he ever does is criticize people around him. He doesn't care what they think all he cares about is himself. He goin got cause a war with someone (most likely iraq).
Thesis: Donald Trump has been able to run such a successful presidential campaign as a result of the evolution of the GOP and his clever tactics throughout the race, however if he does get the nomination, then the results would be devastating for the republican party because they would be almost guaranteed to lose the general election and it could even result in the downfall of their party, but in the end, the most interesting thing about Donald Trump’s campaign is how it has shown us just how divided this country is.
Now that the President-elect is, as he said, in the “big league,” he appears surprisingly tame, and at times, even dignified. One could even argue that his words and actions are befitting of a statesman. Perhaps he realizes that his obnoxious, cutting remarks would only pour fuel over the fiery resentment of the protesters, ultimately making it unprofitable to him.
In the past few months that Donald Trump has been the President of the United States, there’s no denying that there have been questionable actions he has produced. The first things to catch the eye was the firings of his administration of Sally Yates and now James Comey, solely on the purpose that those two did not do something that he agreed with or expose him. Trump has not been a man of his own words exactly. He will say one thing, and the next day he has no recollection of stating it.
Donald J. Trump will be the next president of the United States. Continuously throughout the election process, pundits and commoners alike dismissed even the slightest possibility of a Trump victory for a host of reasons. The most glaring of which was that he had no political experience, followed closely by the fact that he consistently spewed hateful rhetoric directed at nearly every demographic imaginable, save for white men. Nevertheless, as the election drew closer, the number of his supporters grew and became increasingly loyal. Indeed, his faction was so loyal that he even boasted, "I could stand in the middle of 5th Avenue and shoot somebody and I wouldn 't lose voters" (Diamond). It seemed as if no matter how many sexist, racist, xenophobic, etcetera, remarks he made, that his supporters weren 't merely indifferent; they were rejoicing at his "honesty." Furthermore, many of Trump 's Draconian policies, although hard to pin down, given that he was always wavering, were often at the expense of women, Muslims, and other minorities (Timm). Meanwhile, those opposed to Trump, regardless of who they endorsed, were astounded as to how, in such a diverse country, a man who disrespected so many people could garner so much support. From another perspective, many were bewildered that there were so many Americans who somehow still believed that not every human deserves equal rights. Rather than articulate their viewpoints eloquently, many Trump supporters standoffishly claimed
On Tuesday November 9th 2016, Donald Trump was elected president of the United States of America. Mr. Trump was an unlikely and underestimated candidate, not only by the Republican party he associates with but his Democratic rival and what half of the population. He is politically inexperienced and ran his campaign capitalizing on the nation’s economic concerns and fears. His racial remarks and sexual assault allegations seemed to be overlooked by voters and seemed to benefit him due to the racial tensions arising in our nation. He was elected into the highest position possible, President of the free world. His rise in popularity was largely missed by polling organizations and data experts. In this paper I am going to examine the main reasons

I can't believe that I ended up doing this, but I just defended Trump. And no it wasn't for his tax plan. That is thoroughly debunked by John Green at https://youtu.be/SgicDQHbV3M. “Then what was it then” I here you ask. So let me set up the scene for you. My sister and I were driving home from a party we were just at. We get into a conversation about politics. It was a completely civil talk, we are both left leaning and believe in a lot of the same things. It is when my sister said “what am I going to do if Trump wins?” This made me a bit mad and is when I started defending Trump a little.
Regardless of a person’s political affiliations, one thing everyone can agree on is the success of the Republican candidate for president, Donald J. Trump. To a casual observer of Trump’s campaign, it may have looked like the entire process was chaotic and lacked unity; however, it was far from that. Donald Trump realized early on that he was not a politician and instead of lamenting on that fact, he turned it into a selling point. Trump used prior fame, unreasonable policies and misdirection to gain the vote of the largest voting demographic, the white Midwest working class.
Many people have their different opinions on Donald Trump. Many of them hate him and wonder how he won the election. Rumors have been spread ever since the election about how he may have cheated to win. Clinton would have been the first female president and many hate Trump because he was elected instead of a female.
Donald Trump has volunteered to become president of The US. As the world know Trump does not have any experiences in politic. Trump now competing with Clinton in The US Presidential election. Also, Trump treated Muslims, Mexicans, and Black people harshly, even the way he treats women, he discriminating against them. Even though the election determine the future of the US, but this election affect some people outside the US, such as Mexicans and Muslims who has family in the US, it will be so hard for Mexicans and Muslims to visit the family they have in the US, since Trump said if he elected as the president of the US, Trump planned to build a wall in the midst of the US and Mexico, also banned Muslim from some countries. I was trying to sleep on the night of November 9th, 2016 when I heard screams coming from my floor in my dormitory. Not screams of happiness, but screams of pain, screams echoing the feeling that chances to better the nation were thrown to the wayside. That night, Donald Trump, a joke throughout the election cycle, was elected the President of the United States. The next day, a gray sheet of cloud covered the skies, rain occasionally pattered on the roofs of buildings, and trees looked lifeless. Even nature was scared, and unsure of what was next.
