Business Description: Our business is called Squid Inc.Ⓣ. We have one product that we’d like to sell to the public, The Squid Printer©. We decided to be a partnership because we’re barely starting and we can split everything evenly, and don’t have as many risks. There are a few competitors to our company, mostly tech companies like Apple and Microsoft. Our target markets are journalists or people whose job include a lot of traveling.our business should be all about the customer so it's our philosophy. Pricing Strategy: We are selling them for $275 due to to the increased cost of the microphone, bluetooth, and voice command.Our product has a ROI of 2 for every 1 unit sold. We are expecting to construct the squid printers at a manufacturing price of $137.5 per unit.

Sales and Distribution: Our product will be distributed through a website as well as many retail stores such as best buy. The website will send us a notification to keep inventory. To distribute it well use something like UPS or FedEx. Unless they’re buying from a retailer because then they will buy it directly. The product will go from manufacturer to consumer from website so it's cheaper and will get to them faster. Sipping the product will cost an extra $175. With packaging, handling, and transportation is a reasonable cost. It'll also be shipped in our own custom made box which is already included in the $175. The box will be full of protective wrap so nothing harms the printer and with the instructions.

Advertising and Promotion Plan: We plan on spending 15% of our overall budget on marketing. A large chunk of that will be used for internet advertising. We will be using social media such as instagram, facebook and twitter. We will also advertise on journalism blogs.
