“Keep your guard up, Naoko. I told you I’m not going to go easy on you,” Yumichika firmly instructed. “Shut up, you’ve already reminded me and I know what I’m doing,” she growled. “Then prove it,” he demanded as he threw his fist at her, she bent her body backward to narrowly avoid it. Naoko swung her leg in retaliation and Yumichika brought his arms up to guard from the attack. Using the momentum from the blocked kick Naoko landed on the tips of that foot and brought her other leg up for a kick. This one successfully hit Yumichika and sent him stumbling a few feet, though he remained upright. She smirked in satisfaction before he sent a fierce kick of his own at her. It hit her square in the chest and sent her skidding back and falling to one knee, gasping for air. “Don’t get cocky just because you got one good hit in,” Yumichika lectured. He rubbed his arm, “though it was a pretty good hit.” “So was… yours,” she wheezed out. Sitting on the deck overlooking the back garden Ikkaku and Setsuna watched the pair spar. Ikkaku was still too sore and injured from last night’s battle to participate and Setsuna, who helped bind his wounds, politely made it clear how displeased she’d be if he reinjured himself so soon. The way she phrased it made him determined not to displease her. Said woman sat in a wicker armchair while he sat on the steps. She watched her granddaughter train with her new friend and tried not to wince each time she got hit. Setsuna had opted out not because of her age but because she could never bring herself to harm her granddaughter, practice or not. “Naoko’s not half bad,” Ikkaku observed. “Though she does leave herself open when she kicks or lunges, she’ll need to work on that.” “Yes, I can see that. Do you think it would be wiser to focus on building up her strength or fixing any identifiable weaknesses?” Setsuna asked. The benched Soul Reaper mulled it over then said, “We can do both at the same time, though if I had to pick I’d say it’d be better to fix any problems with her fighting. It won’t matter how strong she becomes if she has a glaring weakness an enemy can spot and take advantage of.” He moved slightly to gently stretch his muscles and held back a wince when his
"You know what the funny thing is? I bet we could've been really good friends." Naruto sighed then made up his mind, he charged at Haku with all his might.
"Yeah Naruto, that's great being gutless and all but if you don't wrap up that wound, you'll die for real." Kakashi flatly said.
Unexpectedly, Gamakichi hopped on and plopped onto Naruto's spiky blonde hair. "Oi pops, just hear the little guy out for a sec', after all I was saved by 'em!"
'Let's see how well they've improved.' Kakashi got into a fixated stance as Naruto ran up to him along with several clones. "Such basic jutsu like that won't work against me, Naruto."
Naruto scratches his head then laughs, “Got me already? Not bad but Shiori got here first. When you got here I only had enough time to learn one technique. Listen, Iruka Sensei! I’m going to show you this amazing Jutsu and you’re going to let me graduate and everything will be okay. That’s the way it works, right? Anyone who learns Jutsu from this scroll passes.”
Sabra raised a brow. “You’re surprised? Weren’t you the one who wanted me to train Isaac?”
The movement had caught her, embarrassingly enough, off guard -- which was why the breath was knocked out of her lungs and her head smacked the stone ground with an audible noise. But whether the kick landed or not, she didn’t know, because she was too intent on the next move. On executing her next
“For starters it would be a lot more effective if you hadn't tried it on me every morning for the last three days.” Ryouko couldn't help but allow a small smile. Naruto had a way of making a nuisance of himself but at the same time making you like him even more. “Why don't you ever try it on Lee or Sakura'”
"Vanessa you do don't scare me" I said sternly through gritted teeth." And therefore you and that old bitch can kiss my ass.
'Sakura had such a strong ambition, not wanting to lose to her rival, that she forced Ino out of her body.' Kakashi glanced at Naruto. 'Just like you, Naruto, huh?'
"All right, Naruto, I heard you 're planning on moving out." Iruka said. Naruto 's eyes widened. His gaze softened and he averted it to the floor. He nodded his head.
“Mama ella se llama Jenn y creo que es mi hermana. Tu hija que has buscado por tanto tiempo.” said Lupita very excited. Which means, “Mother her name is Jenn and I believe she is my sister. Your daughter that you have searched for for so many years.”
“Well, in five minutes we’ll be on our way to Iowa. Lord, how did we ever get in this house? What prompted us to buy a nightmare?”, exclaimed George.
'Whenever Daddy had the day off work, we would visit the shops, or ride on the tram. He’d let me ride up top so I could see all the sights. And Clog loved going for a walk in the park'
The woods stayed dark, day and night. The only way to see was with a lantern, held high, held strong. Adyna lived there, in the dark. Every night, Adyna ventured out of her wooded home and sat, beautiful and terrible, in a clearing, close to the village. She would wait, because Adyna kept secrets.
