There are many reasons that Clinton should have been the victorious candidate of the 2016 presidential election. In my mind, these reasons are very apparent.
The first reason that supports my claim is that many of Trump’s propositions and policies conflict with the constitution. First of all, targeting people because of race and treating minorities like they don’t have the same rights violates the first amendment (equality under law regardless of race). Many more of Trump’s policies go against the constitution too. For example, in the presidential debates, Trump brought up a policy he wanted to reinforce that goes by the name of “Stop and Frisk”. Stop and frisk opposes the 4th amendment (no unreasonable searches) and has shown to mostly have law enforcers investigate primarily black people

This shows the majority of the country who voted is likely unhappy about the result in the election, and the electoral college is not the best way to select a candidate. I think the electoral college should be removed because it makes different peoples votes have more value than others, which changed the result in this election, and a few past elections as well. Ultimately, I believe Clinton should have gone to the whitehouse for various reasons. Clinton has been in office before and even the White House when Bill Clinton was president. Donald Trump has never been in office and is merely a businessman and has shown you can be elected president without political experience and if you just promise change, whether you follow through or not. This was shown in our class the mock election in a way as well. Although, many people believed the orange party candidate won the debate, the purple party candidate won by a landside, likely just because he offered change. In conclusion, there is little doubt in my mind that Hillary Clinton should have won the election and been sent to the White
My research about why Hilary Clinton lost the presidency seemed to lead me to all the answers. She was unprepared. Despite that I see the data and the numbers, I still believe she should have won. She had the majority vote. It was minor mistakes that she made, but I assume that the price she must pay. I am a firm believe that if it is meant for you, then it will be yours and no one can take it away from you. Unfortunately, it was not meant for her. She lost because she assumed that prior voting behavior would swing in her favor, she assumed that just because she was the well know experienced candidate that that would lead her to win, and she assumed that it was all secure. She expected it to be handed to her because she did deserve it because
Clinton’s position on criminal justice is the second reason she should win. She thinks the police should be trained more. So when the difficult challenges come, they won’t hesitate, they would know exactly what to do, which results in more people getting saved. She also wants to reform and sentance laws about racial profiling. This will make trials fair and will create more trust in
In one corner we have Hilary Clinton, if she wins than she would be the first female president for the U.S (which would be a big achievement for women hear at the U.S), but no good will come from that. Here are some examples of why. When her husband was governor, she took a $100,000 bribe that was paid to her via shifty dealings. She has done nothing that has made her qualified to be the president, the only reason she got elected for senator of New York was because her husband was president once. She became Secretary of State and did
With the presidential election coming to a close on this Tuesday, November 8th, the research that was gathered in class, allowed a new insight into which candidate was best suited for the job. Each candidate in this election, both have very different view points on each important topic going on in our country today, allowing voters to see the complete complexity of this election. For example, topics including gun control, the pay gap situation and abortion allowed myself, as a voter, to gain knowledge about each candidates position on the topic and which candidate I believed was my ideal one for presidency. In this election, I believe Hilary Clinton is the best candidate for presidency.
Bill Clinton was a leader worthy to be serving as president of the united states of America. He cared about everyone and anyone. He fought for equal rights no matter your class. Even though on the road to success there were bumps along the way. He stood up to them in the right way.
Some pros to Hillary Clinton are that she has worked as a politician most of her life and has experience in both the White house and in the lower parts of the U.S.
Everything was fun and games, that is, until the American people––through the Electoral College––managed to pick the over-tanned, misogynistic, xenophobic buffoon. As such, the question arises: how exactly did Hillary Clinton, being one of the most qualified candidates to ever run for president, lose the election? Was hatred of Hillary the true
In conclusion, Hillary Clinton as president of this nation would be a poor choice. After all that she has done and plans to do there is no doubt that her being in office would be a terrible mistake, and in which many would have to face the repercussions of it. It has been shown that most of her plans will not make America great again, but the exact opposite. She will eradicate the nation because of her plans and policies for immigration,
There are many who argue against this claim, stating some of Clinton’s accomplishments as proof that she should be president. These accomplishments
Hillary Clinton has been involved in politics for over 50 years. During this time, she has served as first lady from 1993 until 2001, and as senator of New York from 2001 to 2009. In 2009, she was appointed Secretary of State and served in the position until 2013 (bio.com). She claims to be the “most transparent” public figure of modern times (TheHill). An interesting comment from someone who was voted The Daily Caller’s least honest presidential candidate (Daily Caller). It’s safe to say that Hillary’s past is filled with controversy. She should not be elected as president because she has repeatedly lied to the American people. These instances include, but are not limited to the Whitewater Scandal, her private email server, and the attack
Hillary Clinton has an abundant of experience that gives her the right qualities to be the president of the United States of America. Clinton was the first lady and has already experienced the presidential life. She knows the hard work and perseverance it takes to run our country. Clinton was also was senator of New York from 2001-2009 and the served as Secretary of State of The United States of America from 2009-2013. She was the only first lady in the history of the United States to hold national office.
Hillary Rodham Clinton has done lots for the United States of America. Her life has been committed to bettering our country. Whether or not people agree with her political agenda is one thing but, there is no disagreeing with how many hours she has logged in as a political figure aiding the U.S in many aspects.
In the first presidential debate, we can see that Hillary Clinton was the clear winner. She was very prepared and acted professional throughout the debate. She answered the questions thoroughly and in a manner that helped portray her political agenda. In this first debate, she began to give the viewers a sense of what it would be like with her in office. Unlike her opponent, Donald Trump, she did not speak out of turn and respected the moderator, Lester Holt.
There are several different reasons why I believe that Mrs. Clinton should be the next president but the first one that I would like to begin with is the fact that she's qualified. Her proven track record can speak for itself. She was elected senior class president at Wesley's college which is a task within itself to complete. She went on to graduate with honors from Yale Law School. everyone knows that’s one of the best law schools in the country, and you must be extremely smart and dedicated to even get into. In order to graduate with honors is beyond impressive. She has work in the trenches in the 1960s and 1970s which gave her significant amount of insight on how presidential campaigns are run. Hillary Clinton has a long list of accomplishments but I'm a fast forward to some of the most recent ones. She served as First Lady of the United States for 8 years. She served as Senator of New York and also recently Secretary of the State. With these type of political qualifications alone would make her a credible contender. I'm especially interested in some of the causes that she fights for such as women's rights, equal pay for women ,and the end of domestic violence .These causes are very important to this nation and I feel only a female president could bring the type of attention to these causes and which one day they can be resolved. I personally believe since President Barack Obama the nation had every type of President other than a female president and it's about time to give a female opportunity to run the country and we should have full trust and confidence within her the same as we do to our male
There is more than one reason to vote for Hillary Clinton. One reason is that she is extremely qualified for president and knows how to help manage a country, unlike other candidates such as Donald Trump who has never held a public office. Hillary Clinton was former Secretary of State, she also was a US Senator, and was first lady during Bill Clinton's presidency. As Secretary of State, Hillary oversaw the department that conducted Obama's foreign policy and learned a lot
