Eternity Comes with a Price in Stephanie Meyer's Breaking Dawn

Twilight is the first book in a series of vampire-fantasy-romance novels written for teens and young adults which revolve around the lives of the two titular characters, Bella Swan and Edward Cullen, and the complications of their romantic relationship. The book is written by Stephanie Meyer and is told through the eyes of 17 year old Bella Swan, as she moves from Phoenix, Arizona to Forks, Washington to live with her father, Charlie. She soon meets Edward Cullen, a 105 year old vampire posing as a high school student. The two become infatuated with each other and form a haphazard relationship which is threatened by the fact that Edward constantly wants to kill Bella and drink her blood. Their involvement with each other leads to Bella’s life being threatened and Edward must save her.

Bella Swan is a 17-year-old girl who has lived in Phoenix, Arizona, with her mother, her entire life. After her mother remarries, she moves to Forks, Washington, to live with her father. Although she is very shy, she seems to make friends very easily at her new high school. On her first day of school, she takes a seat next to a handsome, yet extremely reserved boy named Edward Cullen. As soon as Bella sits down, Edward gets up and leaves, trying his hardest to avoid her. Bella finds his behavior completely strange, but eventually Edward warms up to her, and the two begin a close friendship. One day, Bella is walking through the school parking lot. All of a sudden, a car pulls up out of nowhere, heading straight for Bella. Edward suddenly appears, stopping the car with little force, using only one hand, and completely amazing Bella with his incredible strength and speed. Still curious, Bella asks a family friend, Jacob, about Edward and the rest of the Cullen family. The essentials of a vampire story are an older man representing corrupt values and a young innocent female that get destructed in order to continue the life force of the male. This can be applied to the Twilight series, as Edward uses Bella. Edward and Bella fall in love; stripping away her innocence, and is brought into the lifestyle of vampires. In the course of the movie Bella gets hunted and runs away; using all of her energy. She runs away from home, stripping her from her youth. Within the next few movies, Bella gets pregnant, destructing her body, and gives birth to Edwards baby in order to continue the life force of the male.

There’s more to life than romantic love, but not a lot more to Bella’s life – she does make decisions and pursue the goals important to her.

Due to her parents divorce and her mother's impending marriage, Bella moves from Arizona to Washington with her father, where she is essentially forced to restart her life. This is a very challenging task, and one she was able of enduring alone, proving her self reliance. While Bella made a few quick acquaintances, she struggled with the absence of close relationships prior to meeting Edward. The vacancy left in her life can be attributed to her nonconformity, and her unapologetic nature. Even after connecting with Edward, Bella is reluctant to change the way she acts to please him.

Reminiscence Slavery was a dark time in American history. African-Americans were treated brutally and stripped of the qualities that made them human. As depicted in Toni Morrison’s book, Beloved, after the Civil War, many of the slaves escaped. Beloved focuses on a former slave named Sethe, who ran away from a plantation to escape the tortures of enslavement. She lives with her daughter Denver and suffers from painful remembrance from her experiences as a slave, and even goes as far as killing her own baby, in order to prevent her from becoming a slave.

In the series of Twilight and New Moon, it shows that Edward and Jacob are in love with Bella. Edward would be better for Bella. In the twilight book Edward shows love for Bella. There’s a quote that Edward says “I don’t have strength to stay away from you anymore”. Edward shows more interest and more love to Bella than Jacob does.

The book starts at Bella and Edward's wedding, which creates extreme tension in the Jacob and Bella's relationship. On their honeymoon, Bella unexpectedly becomes pregnant, which "throws their idyllic world back into chaos as factions (both wolf and vampire) battle over whether or not to destroy the potential monster that is killing Bella from within" ("Children's Book Review"). Meyer utilizes a captivating angst, passions, and dilemmas to satisfyingly fill a majority of the book's pages without the constant action of the previous books within the

In accordance with a renowned statement that is reference by Stephenie Meyers from the novel, New Moon, happens to entitle an astonishing significance to the novel itself. Furthermore, the statement on page 71, from Meyers in New Moon (said by Edward Cullen), states as follows, “I promise that this will be the last time you’ll see me. I won’t come back. I won’t put you through anything like this again. You can go on with your life without any more interference from me. It will be as if I’d never existed.” In other words, this statement would be a great example of the true meaning of sacrifice. Sacrifice that is, is being willing to lose something or someone for the sake of others benefit. To begin with, Edward Cullen is the male protagonist in the novel, written by Meyers. Edward is a vampire who is one-hundred and seven years old, but portrays to be seventeen years old. Edward officially meets Bella Swan in Forks High School, where they eventually fall for each other. In fact, throughout their first moments of knowing each other, they find pleasure of each other’s company, and are inseparable. Nonetheless, Bella finds herself in danger upon multiple of occasions, and it so happens to be when she is with her dear, Edward Cullen. Therefore, Edward

I happily devoured the books in hours and awaited eagerly till past my bedtime for Breaking Dawn to be released. When I first looked over the project, the book series popped into my mind, bringing back all of my feelings for the novels before. More specifically, Rosalie Hale’s character. In the book she is often overlooked and seen as the jealous, stunning snob that just didn’t understand the gravity of Bella and Edward’s irrevocable love. Both Elinor and Marianne get their hearts broken by the men they loved. In the beginning, Elinor meets a man named Edward Ferrars and the two immediately click almost like they were meant for one another. They soon face troubles when they find out others don’t find them good enough for each other. Marianne tells Elinor that she finds Edward too dull, while Edwards’s mother doesn’t approve of them being together. Putting others aside, the feelings between them begin to grow and we start to question if they are falling in love.
