Regarding the Emergency Medical Technician program, we announced changes at EMC. The change included the need for an additional day of training (from three to four days) peer EMT refresher. This change affects the plan in place that stated a member would be able to perform a UTA reschedule on a Sunday following the refresher provided it was the same quarter. The overall goal is to design an effective dashboard that will support both rapid pattern recognition and slower, more deliberative reasoning and analysis of information, when managing the care of complex patients.
