My friend is morbidly obese, and for a while now, has been trying to drop the weight that burdens him. For the past two years, he has been to multiple gyms and has done numerous group sessions. He signed up for a number of personal trainers and went three times a week, but he just cannot seem to shed the pounds. Every time he goes outs, I ponder to myself, if all the times that he wants to go to a light night drinking establishment is that has really had that much of an impact on his gut. In spite of all the gym sessions and the portion control with the food he consumes, he will never lose the weight he wants and needs to, by drinking all his calories. Needless amounts of people, like my friend have continued to stay large due to the fact that they believe that drinking does not have a large part to do with the amount caloric intake they consume. Exercise and diet nevertheless, will improve the waistline of the American people, which in turn proves that a little self-control and hard work can indeed pay off in the end. When it comes to lowering the obesity in, Americans need to start taking responsibility for their own food intake instead of trying to blame their weight on outside forces or internal elements. Eating large portions of food or even if one does not eat the food but if instead beverages, which are drank, will cause weight gain and just because something is healthy does not mean to eat large amounts of it because it can still have the same effects as that of
