Evaluating my Interpersonal Communication competence is not an everyday activity, as I rarely think about whether or not I communicate effectively. Sometimes I mistakenly assume that my ability to be a good communicator is confirmed by my success in networking and interviews. In reality, this is not accurate. Regardless, it is important to establish my strengths and weaknesses to take the first steps to work on becoming a better and effective communicator. One time I had a mission in Russia. My mission was to find a hostage. I traveled to Russia looking for him. I went to the neighborhood where the hostage was kidnapped. Once I arrived, I started to give the children in the neighborhood gifts. It was Christmas at that time, so nothing looked weird. I began to speak with families in Russian.
