Frank Jackson Short Biography

It all began on December 7, 1956, in a rural Indiana town called West Baden; Larry Bird was born (Borden n. pag.). His family’s life in West Baden and French Lick was anything but glamorous. However, Bird said, “I just never realized how poor we were. Nobody in French Lick was wealthy” (Borden n. pag.). This poor community lifestyle led to his eventual interest in basketball, as he and his brothers couldn’t afford other entertainments. They instead competed against each other in any sport they could. Larry’s brothers helped him improve as a player by beating him so badly that he wanted to “practice his skills in order to beat them” (Borden n. pag.).

I agree that with the rating of sixth overall that Andrew Jackson received for his presidency. Andrew Jackson was the seventh president of the United States and a member of the Democratic Party. Jackson made many positive and negative decisions as the president of the United States. Andrew Jackson expanded the power of the president and he also expanded democracy during his time as the president of the United States.

Every kid dreams of playing a professional sport, but Bo Jackson played two. Drafted 4th round in 1986, Jackson joined the returning world series champions the Kansas City Royals. Joining the Royals meant Jackson passed up a number one overall pick in the NFL. A few years later, he joins the Oakland Raiders and starts his NFL career. Andrew Jackson, the seventh president of the United States, was born in the Waxhaw’s area near the border between North and South Carolina on March 15, 1767. Jackson's parents lived in North Carolina but historian’s debate on which side of the state line the birth took place.

He kept hearing a thumping sound outside. He went outside to find a small, young Isaiah shooting basketball alone. By the ninth-grade, he realized he was not going to grow anymore, so he decided he wanted to be the best under-six-foot player there ever was.

He is known for what seem like legends to us who did not see it, but truly may have happened. According to one of his coaches he jumped a Volkswagen, and dunked a stick for the sake of dunking a stick. In being an athlete Bo Jackson did not play around when it came to his training, which for him was little to none, as Bo thought practice was a waste. In high school Bo, placed three state records in the high jump, triple jump, and pole vault. When offered a $1.4 million dollars to play football, he turned the money down, and continued to do so even as offers continued to rise.
