Frank Kwiatkokski is a print maker. An unexpected part of his artistic process is taking traffic cones from off the street and engraving his work into them. The prints that come off the cones and go into the zines primarily revolve around the theme of diabetes. Diabetes is a major theme of the artist talk as Kwiatkokski himself is a type II diabetic. Printmaking and zines seem to be the preferred medium of both Kwiatkokski and Peter Bergman’s collaboration. In listening to the presentation, it became clear that there needs to be a balance between hand crafted prints as well as an understanding of digital media. By May 31, 2018, an increase of 40% establishes one-on-one follow up education session with each individual and families through home visits or phone calls to monitor them to improve their lifestyles. By February 30, 2018, an increase of 80% distribution of brochures and with door to door interactions with the individuals in the community. By September 2018, increase 90% of people to engage in community health fair, classes, and exercise activities on diabetes and cardiovascular classes. The project was a great opportunity for students to begin experimenting with the press and to become more comfortable thinking outside the box and including more creativity in their works.

When Warhol showed his work to New York art dealers, they said it was too similar to the work of other artists. Then in 1962, Warhol was still searching for a style that would be his and his alone, when his assistant Nathan Gluck, suggested that Warhol try silk screen-printing.
