Have you ever seen a summer unicorn? I saw one before! They are so cool. Oh, and I don't mean just a unicorn. I mean a summer unicorn. The skin on it was blue and had nice pineapple and watermelon emojis. It smelled like the beech. It was just so nice. It even had a pure, pink, sprinkled horn. First off, I know this sounds fake, but itś not. I actually saw a summer unicorn. I mean what else would you call it. A cow? No, you wouldn´t. You should believe me though. I mean it looked like a blue horse, with pineapples and watermelon, and a sprinkled horn. I mean come on. Oh yeah, it also gave me a galaxy cupcake with sprinkles on it. I wonder where the summer unicorn got the cupcake from? Anyway, after I saw the unicorn, I
Many people have various valuable items that they cherish, some only have a few but everyone has that one thing that hey hold close to their heart over everything. My one item happens to be a necklace that my papa got me for Christmas right after he was diagnosed with liver cancer. This necklace means so much to me because of the character behind it, the many feelings it gives me and the heartfelt memories behind this one simple gift.
I do not believe that I deserve this twenty-five thousand more than anybody else in my
I believe in inspiration. I believe one to be open minded and to be inspired, or serve as inspiration. I believe in progress to be linked hand-in-hand with inspiration.
When I was little I hated ELA. I wasn't a fan of reading or writing. I think the reason was because I didn't have an interest in it. But then I thought to myself that ELA will always be with me. So the first book I was actually was interested were the Magic Tree House books. They changed my whole perspective of reading. I was in third grade when I started actually becoming more interested in books, which was a positive thing because every time I finish a book I felt accomplished. The problem about writing for me when I was younger was that I didn't like grammar. I was a terrible speller and I still am but it's a working progress now, but I was just not grasping how to spell words. Part of that was because I wasn't reading as much as I was supposed to.
Some people absolutely dread English class. It could be the forty-five minute class that ruins their day. This could be because of a previous paper they got a bad grade on, a teacher they didn’t like, or because they never learned to love it. This is not the case for me.
I have always hated the question “where are you from” because it implies that only one place defines a person and that is not the case for most people. I grew up in Clearwater, Florida for half of my life and I spent the second half of my in Jacksonville. I consider both places home for different reasons therefore I guess that I’m “from” both cities. Family is very important to me, so being two hours away from home was a major bonus while choosing Florida State. However I chose to attend Florida State University mainly because it was right after my dream school on the list of colleges that accepted me and home of my family’s favorite college football team, the Seminoles. My whole life the idea that FSU was the best school academically and athletically was hammered into my head. I wore garnet and gold before
Three things that describe me is Smart, determined, and a overachiever. There are many other things that make me the person I am. I feel that there is no such thing as weird and the word normal is overrated. Everyone feels that they are normal, but to some that person’s normal may be strange. I love reading huge books that may take other people weeks to read, singing, and having things organized in a certain way.
“Where are you from?” is what people always ask me. I guess it’s a normal question that is asked frequently. And honestly, since I was a little girl, I have never known how to answer this particular question. Do I say where I’m originally from (where my parents are from)? Or do I say where my passport is from? Or where I was born and grew up? Where I’m from is a little more complicated and complex. Though, maybe you can say I’m from all over the world. See, I’m ethnically Filipino, nationally Canadian, and born and raised in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia; and to add to that, I go to school in America. Now I know that not many people can say that. However, I only speak one language, English. Though, I can speak a little Arabic and understand some of it, but both my older brother and I can’t speak any Filipino whatsoever and barely understand anything.
As I scan the various bookshelves of my town’s public library, I hope that there is something that catches my interest. I eventually get to the end of the row where there is only a sparse collection of books and I see a one titled The Hidden Reality: Parallel Universes and the Deep Laws of the Cosmos, and I think to myself, “Why not? ” Once I check out, I sit down in the large armchair adjacent to the shelves and I start to read.
were to be incarnated and turn into a mythical creature I would want that mythical creature to be a unicorn. I would want to be reincarnated by a unicorn they are very pretty and they are really interesting. A unicorn looks like a horse or goat with a single horn in the middle of its head. The world unicorn means ‘one horn’ because of their horn. Unicorn myths are most popular in Europe and Asia. The myths say that their blood and their horn have powers. Sometimes they say that their horn can heal wounds, illnesses, and neutralize poison. In some pictures unicorns have a lion’s tail or a goat’s feet. A lot of people say that unicorns are the purest white, with long horns, hooves, and graceful bodies. Originally, people
The devil came into my life when I was only 15 years old. I was still a child, basically. As a sophomore, the class was required to take Geometry; math has never been a strong suit of mine, but to challenge myself I took the honors course. It was foolish for sure, sadly that realization came to me way too late. My innocence was about to be rocked and I didn’t even see it coming.
Was there even a true unicorn? So the other topics I may ask relating to my main topic is: 1. What was a 1 horned animal considered? 2.
For one thing there magical at least I think they are, here are some reasons way. They are practically the son/ daughter of the MAGICAL unicorn which means, at least, some of them have to be magical. All of them inherited the unicorns Magical horn so therefore they all have magic inside them from the horn. So that's two points that they're magical But I have a third it is they are unicorns of the sea which proves in some form that unicorns exist.
I have a record of having really bad luck. Seriously. Some of my incidents have included me (accidentally) putting two people in the ER on two separate occasions, getting stung by a scorpion, and having my hair catch on fire in a church. So I can’t really say I was surprised when I came down with a cold shortly before our trip. I arrived with my bag stuffed with different kinds of medicines: cough drops, sore throat medicine, vitamins, decongestant pills, and of course, DayQuil. Nevertheless, I had spent the first few days of the trip coughing and sniffling, and the cold, rainy weather of Holland didn’t quite help (although my host family informed me that at least I could experience typical Dutch weather!) Worse, I had developed a pretty
Introduction: Unicorns are real in a way. By in a way, I mean it’s how you think of it. Do you believe in unicorns are not? I do, but it’s all about if you do.
