Time flies in the blink of an eye and going into freshman year most of the class of 2018 can agree that’s exactly what time did. Freshman year is when the excitement arrives. We wonder what our highschool experiences are going to be and start becoming shaped into young adults. Sophomore year we get into the flow of high school, we have a group of people we associate with and are pretty comfortable. Everything seems normal and we aren’t too anxious to leave our safe bubble. Then the chaos starts; Junior year. Tests upon tests and and endless supply of homework, how do we even manage our social lives? It’s a year of overwhelming proportions, but somehow we survive. This is the year that prepares us for college and teaches us that it’s okay
To many freshman the first day of high school is the opening chapter of a new novel, a fresh start to a sometimes embarrassing middle school experience we would all just love to erase from our memories. August 13th, 2012 was the beginning of my four year long narrative at Cypress Bay High School. Despite my desperate desire to grow up, become an adult, and move far away from my parents for college all that did not seem possible because I had never previously attended a public school. I was struck with fear that I would not be able to adjust to the fast pace dynamics of a large high school.
Why does this shit happen to such innocent and harmless young children? My heart is completely shattered, I can’t even imagine the pain this family is going through. This sweet baby girl depended on the world to keep her safe and protected. Yet we failed her, time and time again. Every time I see this angels picture a tear sheds. Her deep brown eyes tell her story, a story this little girl should have never been faced with. So why? Why does this have to happen to such a bright eyed child?? The police are NOT doing their job. They gave up, way too fast! How can 12 officers lose 1 man for the FOURTH time?! This evil “man” should have been caught. Go catch his ass, put him through the same shit he put this innocent child through and then kill him. See how he likes it.
“What a game, the boys, played well, Justin is a great hitter.” After winning the first game in their new renovate ballpark, excitement filled Coach Bill.
It is finally senior year, the year we have all been waiting for. The leaders throughout the school that everyone looks up to. What more could you want? After being in high school for the past three years there has been many similarities, until now. A whole new year filled with different privileges to look forward to. Let us take a trip through high school.
While senior year seems to be what every high schooler is daydreaming about, walking into high school on the first day of freshman year is nerve racking. It is almost impractical not to feel overwhelmed. It seemed unimaginable that, throughout the next four years, every day will be spent eating lunch, and walking the halls with the people I was surrounded by. Just like winning an Oscar, becoming a senior in high school tends to be just as celebrated. Although they bear some similarities, the differences between the expectations and realities of senior year are clear.
The tunes of a familiar pop song vibrate the floor as a group of clumsy middle schoolers jump to the rapid beat. As the song fades out, a smooth rhythm takes control of the crowd. Girls start adjusting their hair, and the guys cluster themselves into sweaty scattered huddles for the agenda of debating over who will ask whom to dance. Then, a brave fellow or two will ask the girl of their choice to spare a dance with them. It will be one of the most romantic moments of their life, especially with the chaperones standing a maximum of five feet away. Soon enough, junior high dances will fade from memory as one enjoys only a slight improvement of music and food at high school dances. In fact, a significant number of aspects will change as junior high students enter the polar world of high school. From tests to friends, freshman year has the potential to send one spiraling as they attempt to adjust to unfamiliar surroundings. So just take some advice from me, I was once a freshman and somehow lived to tell the tale.
You sister is now a freshman in high school and you are still a middle schooler. Do not be jealous of her, high school isn’t all it seems to be. It is not like High School Musical, do not get your hopes up.
Walking into school on the first day of senior year is bitter-sweet, its academically easier, but even when not in school it’s still difficult, having college applications to turn in, jobs, and waiting for graduation. So far, senior year has been fun and eventful, right after junior year ended summer kicked off with the senior bonfire. Senior sunrise was fun, even though the sun didn’t rise and it was freezing, but it was fun because of the people I was with. Balancing academics, school functions, and work is hard, but in the end it’s all worth it because of the memories that are made during this time that’ll make it all worthwhile. There are more activities to come for senior year that involve everyone and graduation is coming up in less than a

Sophomore year in high school had greater demand on my time and made me realize about my future more than my freshman year. Time management has been a theme I was constantly reminded with academic and extracurricular activities. Furthermore, the realization of entering college and pursuing a career is closer than before. These two factors have transformed my outlook of my junior year.
“Are you up, yet?” you’ve heard the demanding request from your mother or the traumatic beeping from your awaken alarm clock. Each teenager has experienced both of those circumstances while waking in the early sunrise of the morning for school. The want to rest entices you while you shut the noise from your mom and alarm clock out, with the aid of your pillow.

I would tell them that it doesn’t matter how you look at your age. I know that technology is becoming very popular and that everyone has one, even the 6th and seventh graders that probably don’t need an Iphone6 yet, but that it doesn’t really matter how much make-up your wearing when you get to middle school. Barely any middle schooler around 6th and 7th grade wears make-up. Also, you don’t need to be the most popular person in school. I know that when I was in middle school, I wasn’t. And I still had an awesome middle school life. You can still make friends and go out and hang out with them. It is important to start making friends, if your one of the shyer ones, don’t worry. You can still make friends, you might end up making a friend that’s as shy as you. Or, you can
