To begin with, being the most oldest person means you know how to handle a problem or able to make proper plans. You can also went through a lot of things when you’re young. You also hold the most responsibility out of all the people. In Shakespeare’s story Friar Lawrence was the adult of the story but he still manage to mess up plans and do secret plans. The blame lies with Friar Lawrence because he makes faulty plans, he is irresponsible, and he does secretly things especially the plan with Romeo and Juliet. There’s a lot to blame for the death of Romeo and Juliet. For example, Mercutio putting the curse in the family and Balthasar bringing the news to Romeo. The most blame lies with Friar Lawrence though, as he made the plan and married Romeo and Juliet secretly. …show more content…

Instead of avoiding chaos he still married them. This plan was very faulty because you can’t just say you are married with the other enemy. He suggested her to fake her death to escape somewhere far away and not to continue her marriage with Paris. “Now, when the bridegroom in the morning comes / To rouse thee from thy bed, there art thou dead” (4.1.108-109). This is a very faulty plan because a lot of things would go wrong. Friar is very irresponsible because him being an adult let two teenagers become married without knowing each other for a long time.
