The organization has held summits and pushed to enforce strict texting and driving laws. Technology manufacturers are starting to get involved in the nation’s effort to save lives. The ComSonics company is currently producing a device that can potentially track a person who is sending texts from a cell phone while driving.

Video cameras that are installed on to a vehicle witch are involving features of video, audio and also GPS positioning they are called as “Dash cam” or “Dashboard camera”. Drivers who are aware of the abusive cameras are constantly caught up trying to avoid getting an outrageous ticket; therefore, in attempt to avoid them, drivers are unexpectedly and furiously coming to abrupt stops. In result of the urgent and sudden stop of driver A (the first one to cross the intersection), braking quickly doesn’t give driver B neither enough time or physical room to move out of the way, consequently resulting in a rear-end collision, sometimes involving more than just two drivers. The driver’s panic to evade the ticket ends up caught up in the misfortunes of an even sadder circumstance. Leading reasons for this is thanks to the intentional decrease of yellow-light length times. Studies have shown that since the installment of the cameras there has been intentional scheming to cut the period of yellow light to catch as many victims as possible. It has been verified that increasing yellow-lights to at least one second more would decrease the number of accidents by over 45%. (Maass). An extra reason for which there is
Some might say that these cameras aren't a privacy violation, because the police vehicles already have cameras on them recording. This is an invalid argument because those cameras might already be invading privacy, just not as often. Body cameras will record everything the officer can see, while the car's camera has a limited field of
One-third of the officers reported that they felt safer as a result of the in-car cameras. Most of the officers (70%) reported that the in-car cameras had little or no impact on their behavior and higher percentages reported that the in-car cameras had no effect on how they handled incidents (86%) and their decisions to use force (89%).
The primary disadvantage of police body cameras is that they infringe on the simple privacy rights of officers and those who they interact with. Unlike the show these officers would not be able to get a signed release from every person in their film. A policy to release all police-recorded videos could mean footage of the inside of a person 's home or a hospital would be available (Sullivan n.p.). The body camera footage could show the inside of officers homes and other private situations (Sullivan n.p.). This footage of a home, hospital or morgue shows that the footage is
