Chris Kyle Character Introduction Nature and nurture certainly played their role in Chris Kyle’s body shape. His physical impression was an extremely athletic body, tough, strong, an intelligent keen, a fabulous grin and generally good looking. In addition to inheriting a bad temper from his parents, Chris also bore a strong competitive streak, religion, ambition, unquestioning love and stern discipline since he was young. He enjoyed doing chores and reading the Bible every chance he got which greatly helped him overcome his tempers and emotions. General Impression The hardships he endured during service gave him a solid outlook on proper conduct and the relations between the races and sexes. Whenever Chris would slip in front of a lady, he …show more content…
Chris had been at the center of decision-making during the Iraqi war and the battle of Ramadi during his four tours to Iraq. His skills as an outstanding diplomat were not only proved in Iraq but also in America where he had been president of Craft International, a training company for law enforcement personnel where he remained successful by being true to his character. Chris has established himself as a trustworthy person a feature many associates, superiors and subordinates described. People trusted him because he had established himself as such. He had outstanding strength in human qualities as all he did was smile at you and you were drawn into trusting him. During his time home, family and close friends knew him as a dutiful person, responsible, honest, loving, faithful, and a great leader. Interestingly, he had shared certain perceptions on war which he probably picked up during his tours in Iraq or probably as a virtue of loyalty and his life in the military. For Chris, he was almost always unaware of temptations or opportunities for character-testing. The occurrence is a common feature whereby former military personnel attempt to fit in civilian lifestyles. In military life, the reward for virtue may result in one being virtuous but the civilian life only rewards partisanship and almost completely ignores
The fact that a twenty four year old could change the sedentary lifestyle of a staid man who is older than eighty speaks volumes to the influence Chris can have on others. When Ronald Franz met Chris, he thought he was an asinine young individual that lacked direction. However, Chris quickly disproved the old man’s first impression, subsequently becoming very
5. Summarize some of the difficulties that Chris had to face while training at Dean Witter.
He was always trying to better himself and he would always try to do the right thing. He did all his MCI's, went to the gym every day, and was always polite. When it came to doing the right thing, you could always count on him. He would always pick up trash (even if it wasnt his). If he was working and saw something that needed to be done, he would do it. If he saw another Marine slacking off or being a turd, he would correct that Marine. He was the ultimate rolemodle for junior Marines.
Chris makes sure his son gets sleep and gets to eat. When he eats at the restaurants, his son is the only one eating. He wants to keep him happy, so he took him to a football game and got him a basketball. This shows that Chris cares for his son and he wants to keep him happy. This also shows that Chris wants to keep his son safe. Chris was able to take care of his son and to make him happy. Chris wanted him to have a better experience in life. Through perseverance, Chris achieves his goals by taking care of his son.
Chris’s family and teachers knew early on he would always be considered mature for his age. Chris never quite fit in and fully embraced that quality of himself. Charlie reports, “Nice guy, yeah, a pretty nice guy. Didn’t like to be around to many people though. Temperamental. He meant good, but I

In my role as the Chief, House Liaison Division, on Capitol Hill, I witnessed first-hand Major Tann educate and inform Members of Congress, their staffs and committees concerning legislative aspects of Army plans, policies and programs. Kevin also spearheaded, and executed various high-visibility CONUS and OCONUS Congressional and Staff Delegations travel. His innate ability to single-handedly coordinate and expertly manage travel for Members of Congress with zero deficiencies and serve as an Ambassador for the Legislative Liaison Office proved to be an invaluable asset in providing transparency with the Members of Congress regarding U.S. Army initiatives. I can attest to Kevin’s commitment to excellence, unwavering integrity, and honor. He was held in high regard in the Office of The Chief Legislative Liaison, and the Military Intelligence branch. During our service, together, he was highly respected, as a uniquely talented officer with well-developed leadership skills and possessing the ability to solve the most complex problems with relative ease. Also, noteworthy Major Tann was recognized on 3 separate occasions by 3 different Members of Congress; including Congresswoman Ros-Lehtinen, Congressman Kissell and Congressman McIntyre, whom all recognized Major Tann for his exemplary service and successful term as a Legislative Liaison, during their House Floor remarks and Congressional
Supporting reason 1: In the story, he soon finds out his mother that he thought was dead, was alive and his father had lied to him about his mother's whole new life because of an affair that separated the two. Christopher, instead of jumping to conclusions decides to wait and keep him calm until he had all the pieces put together. Chris would often say things as “I didn't have enough information “ or “i decided not to think about it anymore that night...could easily leap to the wrong conclusion” (Haddon, pg.99) whereas most would have immediately gone ballistic. Or when he agreeing goes on the walk in the park with Mrs. Alexander even though he feels uncomfortable around unfamiliar faces. He does just as John Roush discusses in “college should be an adventure” Roush establishes one must keep an open mind to even while being faced with the struggles college kids will face. He explains “Adventure is an attitude” and, “be mindful that whatever the activity, you are preparing yourself for an opportunity yet to be discovered.” (Roush, pg. 1)
Even from a young age, Chris possessed extraordinary character and values. Chris was a very hardworking boy who could accomplish anything he set his mind to. He was successful in school

Self-Reliance by Ralph Waldo Emerson is a short text based on the unique ideals of transcendentalism. Transcendentalism emphasizes spiritual aspects of life rather than ordinary human experience and material objects. The idea originated in New England around 1830 during the reaction to rationalism and was influenced by the ideas of romanticism and platonism. Those who live a transcendent life also hold strong views on communal living, a community of families all pursuing the same goals and sharing the same responsibilities. We see some of these communal and transcendent characteristics in Chris McCandless in Jon Krakauer’s nonfictional novel Into The Wild.
For he has taught me that hard work and dedication can get you into big places. In addition, Christopher was my main inspiration from 8th grade and he continues to inspire me and shows me different types of social skills. Thanks to Chris, my self-esteem has never been so higher, because he had taught me to never be nervous and just be yourself. It was Chris's inspiration that helped me to meet my 8th grade goals and with even more, I hope to meet my high school ones.
The first characteristic that I think Chris displayed is self belief. He had a lot of self belief because he never let his own limitations get in his way of his goals and dreams. Even though he didn’t have a lot of money and not that much of an education, he still knew that he could succeed and will succeed. He never gave up, he kept on trying until he met his goal. Another characteristic that I think he displayed is determination, he never gave up on the rubix cube. He wanted to show the guy that he could do it, and he did. Another one was the bone density scanner, he needed to fix it. He had blood drawn to get the money to buy the part he needed to fix it. He worked with just a little light and still managed to fix it.
In this scene, Chris Kyle (the main character) was trying to take other opportunities rather than working at the ranch. He liked the idea of fighting which made him want to join the US Forces. When he entered the recruiting station, he noticed many recruits who were staring him down due to the fact that every person was in a competition.
