General Summary The Esthetician Cosmetology

When helping clients get the desired results from processes, cosmetologists use the scientific method, this method has four steps: Identify the problem, Develop the explanation, Predict future events, Test predictions.

Cosmetology is the general work on others hair and skin. The area of cosmetology I am going for is hair. I find working on other people’s hair fun and interesting. Makeup and nails are other areas of interest for me. I am going to be studying cosmetology to become licensed as an entrepreneur for hair, makeup, and helping to make the lives of others better. It is important to understand the education or training requirements, skills or training, salary and benefits offered, and the duties for a particular career when making this decision.

Many people wonder what is needed to become that successful good paid cosmetologist. Society sometimes think men are not suited for a cosmetology career; little do they know that is not true. In the cosmetology industry what is mainly needed is patience, which would be the best skill for this career. Cosmetologists do not only handle hair, but many more parts of the body. A career in cosmetology is based on professional skill or practice of beautifying the face, skin, and hair; therefore one needs to know the safety requirements in using many different chemicals, job description, salary, and benefits to work in this career.

Although I cannot say that I have always known what I wanted to do with my life, I have always had a love and passion for hair, nails, makeup, and really anything to do with beauty. Between four sisters, friends, slumber parties, and formals, I have found my love for beauty and have obtained a large amount of practice. As a result of my experiences, my desire for cosmetology has brought me to Paul Mitchell the school. I have decided to attend Paul Mitchell because this school can help further my future education in cosmetology. I am confident that it is the perfect place for me, it will help me achieve my future goals and dreams, and I believe that I am a good student for this school.

In bigger towns and cities there should be a few of them so you should get in contact with all of them. Leaving any of them out might ruin your chance for new employees and business that could expand your salon and spa even more. If you are opening a salon and spa near the school you went to you might already have connections with the teachers and administration there, so it would be a good place to reach out to first. Schools often like it when the salon reaches out to them first because teachers often call multiple salons to find out recent trends and price lists but get no response back. Going to school as a cosmetologist offers the foundation you will need to work as a hairstylist or other beauty professions to men and woman. You will be able to work with a variety of clients and offer full services at a salon. With education in cosmetology you can experience a variety of services from manicures to hairstyles. During your training you will learn the theory and history of cosmetology. You are also required to pass all quizzes and reviews to prepare you for the state board. Once your training is over you will also need to pass a cosmetology licensing exam at the Board of Cosmetology in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. If you do not pass all the requirements you are allowed to retake the exam three times. Why do I need this scholarship you may ask? Well I want to go to cosmetology school to do hair and makeup. There is more than hair and makeup in the cosmetology field but I'm not that interested in those fields. I want this scholarship because I've started my cosmetology school early by going to trade school so I just need the money to finish the rest of my courses. I would like to go to Paul Mitchell or winona's school because they accept the credits and hours I already have.

Introduction: Cosmetology is the career that I chose to do my report on. When I get done with high school I want to be a cosmetologist because I find it to be interesting and a fun job. When I turned 38-years-old I wanted to make a change in my life. I was tired of working jobs that had me living from paycheck to paycheck. The only option I saw was to return to school to get some sort of formal training. I did not want to spend years in college, so I decided to go to a trade school. After some research, I became intrigued with the field of cosmetology. I liked the possibility of someday going into business for myself. I went for an orientation at a local beauty school, and I was sold on being able to complete the program in a year. I was overjoyed thinking that I would be soon be putting all those dead end jobs behind me. I thought becoming a cosmetologist would be life changing, and it would be, but not the way I envisioned.
