The novella is about two men who have been friends since their childhood, George being the brighter one and Lennie’s personality is more like a child’s. George and Lennie make their way to a ranch after running away from their previous one because Lennie had done something wrong. George tells Lennie not to mess around here, but an incident still occurs which puts Lennie in trouble once again.
