Then we had to learn how to print our full names in caps small letters and always remember the letter of each the first middle and last name was put in capitol followed by small letters unless otherwise suggested The next thing was reading (I love this) the book was called Dick & Jane now to me it was just just a little hard (but by the middle of the term we were reading 2& 3 books) The book had no more then ten pages and about the most (of my memory) was 3 lines and a picture of Dick & Jane at the top relating to the story The teacher would then print the sentence on the board and she would also put small words from the page such as, if, and, the, and of course Dick &
We finally got back to camp, and some of our class ran up to us.
I walked up to the red line and positioned my left leg behind my right. I coughed as loudly as I could to get everyone’s attention. Slowly, people started to stop talking and stared at me with curiosity. I paced back and forth trying to decide which teacher I was going to pie in the face.
Cameron’s Class, which was my language arts class. Kaely usually sat right next to me for that class period and hardly ever missed school. In that moment I didn’t really think about it. Another teacher called Mr. Cameron out of class so he stepped out; when he returned he looked extremely pale and didn’t say a word. We were watching the film Animal Farm, after reading the novel. I asked to go use the restroom and he gave me a slight nod. When I entered the hallway I noticed that to my left there were three teachers. Out of the people in the group I could only distinguish Mr. Deutsch, who was my algebra I teacher. They were whispering and he had his hand covering his mouth like he was shocked by whatever one of the other teachers had stated. I didn’t want them to think I was being nosy so I went and relieved myself in the
I remember the first day I saw this kid. It was in September on a warm and windy Tuesday. This particular Tuesday was not like any other Tuesday because of the new student and the way the room felt when he walked in. I usually sat in the back left of the classroom because I was not that type of child that would sit in the front
The two and a half months of summer ended and I was ready to start 8th grade. I was excited and I found out I was in the same pod with my best friend. I felt confident as I walked into room B5 and greeted Mr. Gill. The year started great and I knew my way to all my classes. I studied a lot more in 8th grade. Nearly every test I studied. And by the end of the marking period I had all A’s and B’s. I brought my lunch from home more often and I participate more in class.
The words reported by students are embarrassed, disturb, dignified, cautiously, and relieved. I use an activity provided to define these terms additionally. There are sentences listed for every vocabulary word with ways to act out the words. We break these sentences into strips and take turns drawing them out. We usually work in groups so that every student gets an opportunity to participate if they desire.
When I got into the classroom and we found our seats the person next to me on the right said “I heard the
The Morning of August 3rd began with a "Back to School" meeting, grades two at a time went to an assembly to go over school rules, the dress code, and how to be successful in, and outside the classroom.
Charlie, Thomas and I walked to school and when we got there we went inside and went to our classrooms.
Once everyone had came in, a male teacher I haven't seen before came in the classroom and closed the door before
I COULDN’T TELL YOU HOW I ENDED UP THERE even if I tried. There were these two government officials, dressed in their suit and ties and all. They came into our class and
When I got there my teacher was outside of the door. I did not know what she was doing outside.
It’s first grade. The teacher asks us to settle down at our desks and be quiet. She says, “When I call your name, reply here.” It appears that I was the only one who didn’t get the message. The indistinguishable conversations in the room grew silent and I was hearing my own voice. While every other student was sitting patiently for his or her name to be called on, I was the only one standing. As I glance over my peers, I get a sly hint that I should sit down quietly like the others. A few minutes later, a student taps me on the shoulder and whispers, “The teacher called your name, tell her you’re here.” With uncertainty, I squeak out the single word, “Here.”
I live in Friendswood ,Texas and go to Westwood Elementary. In my second year of going to Westwood which was when I was in 1st grade in 2009. When I got to school on the first day of school I noticed a girl who seemed very commanding and rude.My first grade life would change from the wrath of Jessy.
