Teighler,
I just wanted to take a moment, and let you know how much I love you. I do not show it as much as I should. It is so easy to get caught up in what is going on within ourselves. Between work and school I have to do better in showing you how much you mean to me. The first flower is a Casablanca Lily. This flower represents celebration, or our first year of marriage. We fed off of each other, our joy, our aches, we were so happy to just be together. The second flower represents our second year of marriage. This flower is a Dogwood Flower.
It represents many things but the two I want to focus on are “Strength & Resilience”. Our second year was not easy, We had to learn how to live together and be with each other everyday. The honeymoon

To my beautiful wife Hallie Baxter, you have saved my life by giving me purpose and perspective. When I think back about the time I was sitting at that bus stop bench in japan, and you messaged me that day. I didn’t know what to say at first, but as time passed and our love grew our wedding day finally came. I knew when I looked into your eyes that day I found the other half of my heart. Never in my life have I gazed upon someone so kind, strong, beautiful or smart. You have stuck beside me through thick and thin. Without you I would have never laid eyes on our beautiful daughters face. I don’t know where I would have ended up without you. But I know I am grateful to be with you every sec of every day. What I’m trying to say is that you taught

William Faulkner is known for his Southern Gothic style of writing. One of his short stories “A Rose for Emily” is about a girl who kills that guy that she loves to be with him. Emily killed him by using Arsenic. Even though the story may be a little weird, it is one of my favorite stories by William Faulkner. The first time I read “A Rose for Emily” I became intrigued about arsenic.

You both are so prominent in my life and I could not be more thankful for that. This year has brought about a lot of challenges, while also many good times. Like, showing up to Disney at six in the morning after not sleeping the night before. Or finding out that I have a high chance of surgery, but you both were there through it all. Thank you for always loving me in the good and the bad times. “You taught me to do the right things. You’ve given me everything I will need to make it through this crazy thing called life. So don’t you worry about me. There’s no way you’ll ever lose me”; YOU’RE STUCK WITH ME, YOU TOO
"A Rose for Emily" is a wonderful short story written by William Faulkner. It begins with at the end of Miss Emily’s life and told from an unknown person who most probably would be the voice of the town. Emily Grierson is a protagonist in this story and the life of her used as an allegory about the changes of a South town in Jefferson after the civil war, early 1900's. Beginning from the title, William Faulkner uses symbolism such as house, Miss Emily as a “monument “, her hair, Homer Barron, and even Emily’s “rose” to expresses the passing of time and the changes. The central theme of the story is decay in the town, the house, and in Miss Emily herself. It shows the way in which we all grow old and decay and there is nothing permanent

“Flowers are a sensual gift that can express any emotion so simply – with just a little knowledge and a phone call to the florist.”
William Faulkner begins his short story, “A Rose for Emily” with the funeral of the main character, Emily Grierson (30). Emily is a quiet woman. It is said that nobody has been in her house for ten years, excluding her servant (30). Supposedly, her house used to be the best one around. The town also has a different connection with Miss Grierson. She is the only person in the town who is not forced to pay taxes. For years the town neither makes her pay, nor harasses her with tax notification letters to pay her taxes, until now. The younger generations who work hard and remain loyal taxpayers are not thrilled by this and decide to visit Emily in an attempt to get her to pay her debt. They try to get her to believe the old plan will not work
“A Rose for Emily” by William Faulkner is the best short story because its plot, symbols, and settings are well articulated and integrated into the story to effectively portray the themes of death and change, race and gender. A Rose for Emily is a short story concerning the life of Emily Grierson as told through the views of the townspeople in an old Southern town. The short story opens with the awkward relationship between Emily and her dad, before and after his death, and further explores how Emily gets secluded after poisoning her partner Homer Barron and storing his remains for more than a decade in her bed. William Faulkner exploits various literary devices to create a variety of themes. However, this is primarily focused on the way Emily

High school is supposed to be the place where you have fun and a time in your life you’re supposed to enjoy. Movies often trick you into believing that high school is an amazing time in your life and there is nothing but parties and fun. In Bring it on, they portrayed the fun and exciting part of high school cheer-leading, however they intentionally leave out the tough times high school students’ face in school and in their practices. In other popular movies, such as High School Musical the students have no pressures other than the next basketball game. In reality, this doesn 't happen. The constant pressure is affected by the grade level you are in. In high school, students can be classified based on the pressures that are faced in each grade level into the categories of freshman, sophomores/juniors, and seniors. I am here to help you make your high school experience less stressful.
Good afternoon, faculty, parents, and students of Mt. Pleasant Community High School. I would like to read a quote from William Jennings Bryan, former United States Secretary of State: “Destiny is not a matter of chance, it is a matter of choice; it is not a thing to be waited for, it is a thing to be achieved”. Today we are taking a little trip down memory lane. Today, lets remember our past, embrace the present, and hope for the future.
