“Say cheese!” the photographer shouted. I have always dreaded those words because in “saying cheese” it would mean to show my twisted teethe. I am Olga Monic Gamboa a senior at United South High School, vice president of National Honor Society, vice president of LULAC, and officer for many other clubs. I am very active in my community and my school, which lead me to be embarrassed to show my teeth. Every time I speak at a meeting or a presentation I am afraid they are just staring at my teeth or falling asleep with the non facial expression I put on. I can’t smile while knowing that a tooth is to forward and a tooth is hidden in the back. In a year I will be going to college and I need to look professional and be confident in my smile. A smile
I have been going to school since I was four years old and, that means that I have been attending school twenty to twenty two years, including kindergarten, middle school, high school and now college. As every student, I had my ups and downs in school; I had some failures and some successes. One of the failures that affected me the most and that I will always remember was the time that I was in high school during my junior year. I failed almost all my classes and, I only passed two classes and with a C. In the other hand I had some really good success. The most recent one and the one that I am still happy about is getting my Family Development Credential. We learn from our mistakes and also from our successes, these two times in my life
So far, all throughout high school, I have done my best in school. I strive to get the best grades I can. There are many opportunities out there, college related, that many people out of high school don’t have. I make sure I take advantage of these opportunities because all the hard work will be very rewarding in the end. During my sophomore year of high school, I had the chance to get into a four-year program that would have me take college classes while still in high school. Also, I would be able to job shadow different careers, practice interviewing skills, and get an internship. By the end of this program I would have an associate’s degree and have developed very useful skills necessary for a career. This whole program would be free.
Hello everyone! My name's Ally Ward and I'm a senior at South Stanly High School. Currently I'm taking CCP courses with SCC, so that I'll have two years under my belt when I start college. I plan to attend Gardner-Webb University this Fall and major in English with a teaching license. After I receive my major I plan to get my doctorate in English and then get a job as an English professor. I also love to read, shoot archery, ride horses, and spend time with my family.
So … snaps fingers … wow! This is a lot of people. Well, first off, congratulations everyone; you all made it this far. Hopefully you will be able to make through this speech. According to page ten of the Chisago Lakes High School Student Handbook, all of you have earned at least 28 credits in a variety of disciplines throughout the last four years. And for those English nerds out there, I do have a properly formatted works cited page if you would like to fact-check me. Don’t worry.

In a world where fantasy becomes reality there is nothing left but one girl, one school, and one way out. Now that girl is me, Shelby Mayo, that school is Decatur High School in Decatur Alabama, now I know what you’re thinking... what can one girl do to save herself from thousands of flesh eating zombies… I’ll tell you it’s quite simple actually. Step 1. Be badass and that’s right bring a sword because guns will run out of bullets. Step 2. Bring a map of the school that you have to survive in. Step 3. bring comfortable clothes that you wouldn’t mind getting dirty (obviously), step 4. now stay with me because this one isn’t really a physical thing, but bring a heart of steel because you’ll need it and step 5. bring a grenade in case all else
On behalf of our sixth grade team members at Oak Grove Middle School, I would sincerely like to thank you for the six beautiful book bags filled with school supplies you so generously donated to our students at Oak Grove Middle.

Hello, I would like to be the first to welcome you to Niles West High School!
Good evening distinguished guests, administrators, faculty, family and friends, and most importantly the class of twenty eighteen.
High School graduation can be an exciting time in a student’s life. It is a time in their lives where they begin to experience the kind of freedom that comes along with growing up. This freedom allows students to choose the type of college or University they would like to attend. It is necessary that they understand how responsible they need to be with the freedom that is being offered to them. When choosing what college or university to attend it may be tempting to want to go to a school that is known more for the party scene however, it is important to keep in mind that to have a bright future, going to a party school may not be what is best for them today. When looking into a colleges or universities it is imperative to ask oneself three questions, are the students attending the school learning anything; what is the failure rate of the school they are looking into; and what is the schools average cost of tuition.
