If there was a survey that asked what creates happiness most people would say money, a better job, a bigger house, or a nicer car. But happiness is not defined by materialistic objects.
Happiness is being surrounded by loved ones, having hobbies, and being challenged. Each one of these are completely different for each individual. In the book, Brave New World, everybody looks the same, feels the same, has the same hobbies, all are born to work a certain job, and just be content with the lives they live. Psychologists suggest a complete opposite way of life to achieve happiness. It is said that one has to continually challenge themselves, faking being happy until happiness is felt is proven to work, and having personal interests are all components

Happiness is when somebody has their own friends, own interests, own favorite things to do, and own life altogether. Maybe one likes to play sports, while others like to play music, and some like to participate in theater. No matter what one chooses to do in life, I believe that one must do it with passion and pour their heart out into it.
It’s having hobbies, close relationships, a job that one is truly passionate about, and a life full of spontaneity and challenges. All of these things lead to excitement, things to look forward to, and all around a happy life. they are passionate about. Nobody can think for themselves, everybody belongs to everybody.
There is much more to life that creates happiness when somebody has their freedom to do what they love and put their heart and soul into it.
Not only does one have to have personal interests and their own favorite things to do, but within those hobbies, passions, and careers psychology says that happiness is created by challenging one’s self. The movie Happiness quotes “you don’t know pleasure without
Many people have a thought in their minds that wealth is the factor that makes an individual Joyful;however, this is not a real statement. What actually makes a person happy is one’s health and love.

In other words, if inside you are unhappy or you do not want to be unhappy turn that around and pluck out the joy and the happiness however little it may be and put it out there for everyone and notice how that joy and happiness will build and then return back to you. Happiness is not just self-satisfaction, it involves generosity, compassion, and good relationship toward others.
People usually hear the word goal and they immediately consider their pursuit of happiness. Often, this goal has been in pursuit of a relationship, wealth, or great notoriety that they want; then they will be content. Although many may argue that pursuing happiness as a goal does not have detrimental effects, psychologists, previous wars, along with immigration all illustrate that pursuing happiness has more inimical consequences than advantageous.
Does Money Buy Happiness? Studies over the last 10 years have shown that life experiences gives people lasting happiness and memories. There are two types of happiness: the measure of the quality of one's life, and how often one experiences positive emotions such as joy and affection. People in the top quartile for annual income have self-reported higher quality of life happiness than those in the bottom quartile, but about the same emotional happiness. Money can be used to purchase things ranging from physical objects to an experience.
Defining happiness can be just as hard as achieving happiness. Some people find happiness through love, family or money. All three of these ideas can influence happiness, but do any of these have more power or influence of achievement or happiness over the others? Money seems to have the most influence in someone’s pursuit of happiness can suggest that money is the only thing that can make happiness. Money can only make a person happy on the outside, but one must have love and family for a person to truly be happy and money can’t truly buy that.
perspective on music. I also believe that happiness is family and friends but music is really helps
Essentially, seeking happiness is necessary in life. We often hope to find happiness from other people, other things around us and forget that we can create it by ourselves. The novel “The happiness project” by Gretchen Rubin is sufficient evidence. The author states, “I am happy – but I’m not as happy as I should be.”(13) Then she started a project within a year to change her life and seek for a happier life. By making a list of things she has to do in the next twelve months, the author have done many things which affects her “Vitality” (1), her “Marriage” (38), her “Leisure” (112), her “Friendship” (141),etc. positively so that she can achieve her goal, which is a life full filed of happiness as she dreamed before. We can also do that. We know that if everyone of us set a goal and live purposely, we are all happy. However, we can be happier if we know how to change ourselves on the right way. We can make ourselves happy by doing simple things in our everyday life.
Happiness is what all human beings/rational beings desire. It is always the end (goal) of our activities, it is an unconditional good.
What is happiness? The essay, “Three Simple Things,” the author gave us the definition of happiness from Dictionary.com as "an active or passive state of pleasure or satisfaction." In his own special way, the author writes about how friends, families, and his belief in God are the things that make him happy the most. Sure people may feel their happiness is being healthy and alive. There are many things that could make me happy, but the three that make me happy the most is spending time with my three girls, being with families, and fishing.
It is often said that, “Money can’t buy happiness.” In Cass R. Sunstein’s Yes, Money Can Make You Happy, Sunstein provides a summary and review of Elizabeth Dunn and Michael Norton’s Happy Money: The Science of Happier Spending; he declares that money, when spent wisely and with the right attitude, can provide the most elusive of all human experiences: happiness. In a changing social climate with advances in technology offering unmatched convenience, and a culture in which diverse people with equally diverse sets of values come together, the study of what truly makes us happy is especially relevant now more than ever. While money can certainly be spent in a manner which will create happiness, what Sunstein neglects to address in his writing is that more money does not always equate to more happiness, regardless of how and when it is spent.
We all have heard the phrase “money can’t buy you happiness.” That phrase is a lie because mostly everything in today’s society revolves around money. The things people like revolve around money too. What a coincidence? Let’s say a person is upset so they go buy their favorite ice cream because they know it will make them happy. That person had the money to invest in something that made them happy. Or on an even bigger let’s say someone has been fantasizing about a car and they finally get enough money to purchase their dream car. This person is likely to be very happy. If it was not for the money, they would not have gotten that dream car, so basically the money made them happy. The truth is money makes people happy.
Happiness. Most people yearn to be happy. If people are not happy, what good is life? Without happiness, people are not living their lives the way they want to. Happiness is a way for people to discover their true identity. Working at something that does not make a person happy is pointless because they will have no enjoyment doing what they are doing, and no motive to continue. Face it, people need happiness to do everything. Happiness is a key part of most people's lives because without its presence people will never be satisfied with their lives, realize who they are as an individual, or accomplish anything substantial.
When you hear the word happiness, what is the first thing that comes to mind? Do you think of material possessions like designer clothes and accessories, the newest iPhone with the highest possible storage capacity, or a shiny red supercar? Do you think the amount of money you have or your current financial status has an effect on how happy you are? Plenty of college students, myself included, would associate happiness with possessing items like these or just having a lot of money in general. In today’s society, one common belief about social class is that the richer and more money or things that one has, the happier this will make them. This belief is reinforced by countless advertisements we see and hear everywhere, whether that be on
Other suggestions on how to live a joyful life include having a copious social life by spending time with friends and making new ones, taking adequate time to rest after a tough day at work or in school, and chasing your goals for your individual life, relationships or for your profession.
