Some examples of adverse situations in this story include Jones coming back to the farm to take it back, Pilkington attacking the farm, and Napoleon driving Snowball out of the farm. The villain of this story is made to be Napoleon but at first the villain appears to be Mr. Jones because of how badly he treated his animals. Reading later in the middle of the story, we find out that Napoleon is just as abusive as Mr. Jones which deems him the main villain. Some characters that would be considered heroic in the book are Boxer, Clover, and Snowball. How Clover made it through the worst times in the book and remained present throughout the story, we could conclude that Clover is the main hero. The supporting characters are all of the remaining animals on the farm. Because Animal Farm has the types of characters consistent with a fairy tale, this book is still able to be considered a fairy tale

Animal Farm is a book about a group of animals who started a revolution against the tyranny of their farmer. The animals ran Mr. Jones out of the farm, along with all of his men. Then they started their own government following 7 commandments. It was a challenge for the animals, and they faced many difficulties. There were Sunday debates, and they spent many hours working to get food. One day, a pig named Napoleon had taken control of the farm using the dogs he had hid from society. Napoleon slaughtered those who disobeyed him and ordered everyone around. Once again, the animals were being tyrannised. Still, none of the animals stood up because of fear. Therefore, not standing up for oneself can lead to negative outcomes. For example, Benjamin never spoke up, the life and death of Boxer and Mr. Jones had tyrannised the animals.
Animal Farm by George Orwell is a novel based on the lives of a society of animals. Animal Farm goes deeper than just talking about animals, it symbolizes the corruption of Communist Russia. During the story, most animals are manipulated into believing the exact opposite of what is true. Animal Farm Although the title of the book suggests the book is merely about animals, the story is a much more in depth analysis of the workings of society in Communist Russia.
George Orwell’s Animal Farm is, first and foremost, a political satire warning against the pursuit of utopian desires through unjust and oppressive means. Operating under the pretense of an animal fable, Orwell disparages the use of political power to poach personal freedom. He effectively alerts his readers to the dangerous price that can accompany the so-called “pursuit of progress”. And he illuminates how governments acting under the guise of increasing independence often do just the opposite: increase oppression and sacrifice sovereignty. While the cautionary theme Orwell provides proves widely applicable, in reality his novel focuses on one tale of totalitarian abuse: Soviet Russia. The parallels between the society Orwell presents in his Animal Farm and the Soviet Union – from the Russian revolution to Stalin’s supremacy – are seemingly endless. Manor Farm represents Tsarist Russia, Animalism compares to Stalinism, and Animal Farm, with the pig Napoleon at its helm, clearly symbolizes Communist Russia and Joseph Stalin. But Orwell does more than simply align fiction with fact. He fundamentally attacks Soviet Russia at its core. And in so doing he reveals how the Communist Party simply replaced a bad system with a worse one, overthrowing an imperial autocracy for a totalitarian dictatorship. This essay will demonstrate that Orwell’s Animal Farm is

Animal Farm is an allegorical novel in which the animals attempt to create a utopian society. This novel is based on the once communist society in Russia, which very quickly turned into a totalitarian corrupted state under Joseph Stalin. Animal Farm is an allegory of the period in Russian history between 1917 and 1944. It is a satirical story written in the form of an animal fable. In writing Animal Farm as a fable, George Orwell is able to present his subject in simple symbolic terms by treating the development of communism as a story that is taking place on a single farm with talking animals. The characters of Animal Farm represent figures in Russian history during the Russian Revolution. Places, objects, and events of the Russian Revolution are also symbolized in Animal Farm.
Each story has some form of conflict to keep it going- to hold the attention of the audience. There are four kinds of conflict, three of which are present in this fable. Character versus character, character versus society, and character versus nature. Character versus character conflict occurs between Napoleon and Snowball- between Stalin and Trotsky. An example of this that Orwell wrote in Animal Farm would be, ‘As usual, Snowball and Napoleon were in disagreement... The one argued that if they could not defend themselves, they were bound to be conquered, the other argued that if rebellions happened everywhere, they would have no need to defend themselves’ (66). Character versus society, occurs between Snowball and the other animals.

Animal farm is a book that describes the harsh reality of inequality and injustices towards people of different races in the form of animals on a farm. Although Animal Farm does not have any heroic characters, in the story there is a death of a supporting character. The death of a supporting character neither glorifies nor diminishes the supporting character to anything more or less significant. All characters, whether they are the major characters or even a minor, supporting character, they all do not have a complete story. There are no completely round characters in literature. Characters die; characters exist, simply for the sake of the plot, not so that the reader would know the life story of each and every character.
