Hitler, not such a bright character in most people’s opinion still brought a smidge of good into Germany. Hitler known to be a very cruel man was not always like this in his childhood but the events that occurred in his life affected him which also affected his career choice and led him to become a dictator. From a very young age Hitler had a passion for art and wanted to become an artist, but his father did not approve of this decision. Hitler was also inspired to be a Catholic Priest at the age of nine. Since those events framed Hitler’s character/personality from a very young age he developed a very egoistic person. Hitler was destined to become a dictator but what if he became something else? What if life led him to become a priest, how …show more content…
There are many differences between a priest and a dictator but for me there are three main differences spiritual, ruthlessness and lastly open-mindedness. Most probably dictators do not have or follow a religion even though they may execute love or seem practising in one religion due to their speeches. Most dictators for example Adolf Hitler only used God in his speeches to grab the attention and to gain the full support of the German people both physically and emotionally since majority of the population were Christians. Priests on the other hand have such a strong spiritual connection between God and oneself practicing their religion with so much love and fascination. Another grave difference is how dictators can just sentence someone to death and not even give them a fair trial just straight up with the punishment. This really shows how cold-hearted they can be. Priests are known to be generous and always seek well for other people and always try to help, not harm his fellow people. Finally the last major difference between the two is open-mindedness. Dictators have a mission and that is to rise towards power and control, and they do not want anyone or anything to stand in their way. A perfect example I can provide you is of Hitler, he wanted to become the Fuhrer of Germany and to do that he had to eliminate all existing political parties most importantly communism since they had the greatest amount of supporters and to Hitler they were his biggest threat. Unlike for priest though they accept different ideologies. They understand how not everyone wants to follow them and how they cannot be forced to do so. Hitler on the other hand created a group of people known as the SS and one of their roles was to kill anyone who was against
Hitler may have started out as a young innocent boy, or a successful country leader, but any good was lost long before WWII. A normal child with five brothers, a kid with a love for art, who fought in a war, a simple childhood. Becoming a Chancellor
Many of the actions that Hitler enacted are remembered as the horrors of the 20th century. This man is compared to the devil at times for the acts he committed against humanity. I believe that Hitler's Evil adulthood is partially from the influences of his childhood. As a child, Hitler became exposed to anti-semitic political ideas from friends he grew up with. As a kid these ideas were something he latched onto. That was because he wanted to fit in with his friends. It was these political views that he grew so attached to that was the main influence on his early childhood.("United States Holocaust Memorial Museum", 2016)
Although he was a tyrant, he was a good leader for his country. Let me clarify what I mean by that later on in my report. But first let me ask you this. Did you know that young Adolf wanted to be a painter but was rejected from the schools he applied. He had 5 brothers/sisters. Adolf Hitler was born to Alois Hitler and Klara Polzl. As a child, Hitler clashed constantly with his harsh father. Following the death of his younger brother, Edmund, in 1900’s, Hitler became detached from world.
While many assume that Hitler and Mussolini were more different than they were similar, the opposite is true, due to their indoctrination of children and the manner in which they gained power and took control using fear and terror, it suffices to say that they were both similar. For example, both aimed to indoctrinate children by placing them into youth groups that trained the children for military and brainwashed them. Mussolini had “ Fascist youth groups known as Young Fascists, who were used to teach Fascist ideals to the young people of the nation.”(Spielvogel Pg. 844). Also, Hitler changed the education system so that from an early age, children were forced to learn about his greatness. “ We five- and six-year-olds received an almost
Dictatorship throughout the ages has mainly led to oppression and conflict between people and government. Some of the notoriously bad dictators took office around the 1920’s and 1930’s. There were three main dictators in that time period and they all ran different countries in very different ways. Josef Stalin was known as the dictator of the Soviet Union, he was all about communism and did not care if there was opposition to his ideas. On the other hand, Benito Mussolini was in charge of Italy and all about fascism. Possibly the worst known dictator of all times was Hitler, in charge of, Germany, he was all about Nazism. Each had a different outlook on ruling, but they all did things similarly to lead to nations hatred against them. Basically, their ultimate goal was to do what was best for their countries, however, there want for power tended to get in the way. They all wanted to accomplish many things, they used many different ideas and ways to run their nations. They were all blamed for their nations demise in one way or another. This essay will discuss the similarities and differences between Stalin, Hitler, and Mussolini.
Germany’s defeat during World War 1 left the country with unstable government and uncertain people. Adolf Hitler was a man with confidence, charisma, and the ability to make friends and influence people. Hitler tried to establish a sense of community in the recovery and targeted young people, the unemployed, and members of the lower middle class. Hitler’s ability to gain followers and rise to power was a positive thing for Germany until he began using that power to convince others to take part in the Holocaust. Although Hitler was influential in the Holocaust, his intentions were to make Germany a better, brighter place. Hitler gained followers by spreading a message of hope in a positive way, substantially helped the German people out of an
Mussolini and Hitler’s time in power was around the time its countries were most vulnerable. Their power was so successful because of their full and unconditional support from its people. If they were failing somehow, through their use of propaganda they made it seem like they were booming, socially, economically and politically. Adolf Hitler, born and raised in 1889, Austria. Dying in April 1945 Germany, he commit suicide just two days after Mussolini died by firing squad alongside his mistress, in Italy. Benito Mussolini was born in 1883 Italy where he bullied many kids (Downing, 2001). Hitler was able to successfully work his way up from the inside of government, which overall explains why Hitler’s 12 years in power went more smoothly than Mussolini’s 18 years. Due to both leaders having fascist policies allowed their countries to be alike. Their personality cults did not necessarily help them rise to power but it certainly consolidated their positions once ‘Fuhrer’ or ‘Duce’. Also, their propaganda use strongly encouraged the people to support their leader and gain respect for them. The events prior to their rise played a significant role when analysing their personalities, ideologies, and propaganda. To a large extent, their

Since Jews had different physical characteristics and religious views, Hitler hated them for their perspective on life.
Adolf Hitler had a major impact on Europe and the rest of the world. His dictatorship led to the deaths of millions of people who he believed were not “pure.” Hitler is still remembered today as one of the worst to set foot on Earth. However, Hitler still has an evil impact on people today. Some people still believe that his ideas were supreme and that all people should be forced to live under his beliefs and
Adolf Hitler was the dictator of Germany during World War II. He was well adored by many citizens of the country, but he was also behind a horrifying tragedy that took the lives of millions of Jews. He was a very compelling leader which is why so many people followed him blindly. Hitler’s story comes from humble beginnings to becoming one of the most powerful dictators in the world. He used his powers to influence his country and plunge the world into a full on war.
Hitler was a man who would take responsible for every word come from his mouth. As a captivating public speaker, he was extremely good at capturing people’s minds by indicating his own ambitious vision and sense of purpose for Germany. His deliberate words were so purposeful and convincing that they made the country believed that every action they took under Hitler’s command was righteous. That explains why many German soldiers didn’t feel guilty immediately after they had taken innocent lives, because they deeply believed that they were killing in the name of God. From the perspective of leadership, the main reason that why Hitler was a fascinating orator is his deep faith for his behaviors.
Adolf Hitler was a man who promised great things and delivered those great things with the support of the Germans to the Nazi regime. He oversaw the death of millions of people, including the Jews, with the full support of the German race. This certainly was not because the German people had been as cruel and heartless as him, it was because of the promises he made and the persuasion he had with his words. Hitler was considered to have been a “master propagandist in order to persuade the Germans his policies were necessary and just.”............ Adolf Hitler made many economic and military promises to the German race. The most popular promise was to break Germany free from the Treaty of Versailles. Others were promises to end the war reparations of Germany, re-arm Germany, and bring back a strong and stable government. Germans were persuaded by these promises and longed to live the lives they use to have. This led strong support of the Nazi regime. Indeed Hitler’s promises had an important role in the Nazi’s rise to power but the way Hitler was available to deliver his speeches and his strategy was the reason he was able to rally up so much support. Hitler was thought by many to be an amazing speaker. He captivated minds of people all throughout the world, not just from Germany. He spoke from his heart, with little training prior to campaigning, and still captivated over eleven million people(Hitler Effect). His speeches brought tears to members of the NSDAP from the passion and truth he combines into his words. Hitler’s loved speeches are significant to the regime’s rise to power as they were the one of the factors that did not involve using force to make German people join the party. It was the power of his words that sparked interest in much of Germany and the number of followers would be noticeably different if Hitler had not had the personality he
Adolf Hitler was a skilled politician. “Many people didn’t take Hitler seriously, but his fiery words and brilliant blue eyes seemed to hypnotize those who listened to him. His emotional speeches made crowds cheer” “hail, Hitler!” (Peter Hoffmann). Hitler joined a small group of men called the Nazis and soon became their leader (Peter Hoffmann). People believed that he was their protector and their friend (Peter Hoffmann). Hitler will probably never be thought of as protector, friend, or good man ever again.
“Considering his origins and his early life, it would be difficult to imagine a more unlikely figure to succeed to the mantle of Bismark, the Hohenzollern emperors and President Hindenburg than this singular Austrian of peasant stock who was born at half past six in the evening of April 20, 1889 in the Gasthof zum Pommer, a modest inn in the town of Braunau am Inn, across the border from Bavaria.” (William L. Shirer 14) Hitler was a corrupted man by having a terrible childhood. He did not have any role model, such as a father and mother. He only had a dreams to become things but he was not allowed to be anything. Several factors in Hitler's life may have contributed to him becoming an evil dictator. He was not allowed to become an artist, he wanted to be a priest but could not, and he had a bad relationship with his father.
Hitler soon gave up on his dream of being a artist and joined the military,Hitler had to cut off his mustache for his gas mask to not let air in he saw a lot bad things when he was a soldier. When Hitler was a soldier when they did something wrong they just shrugged and went on with what they were doing they didn’t care about anyone besides themselves. Hitler later wanted to be the leader for Germany’s and most people didn’t think he could make it and Hitler did everything to get to become the leader and he would kill people and bribe them to drop out. He soon won and became the leader, but turned into the dictator controlling everything and wanting to rule the
