It is impossible for us to pray with accuracy when we don't know what to pray for. That is why we need the Holy Spirit to "help" us. The Word says in Hosea 4:6 "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge…" God wants us to have knowledge about Him and His word and prayer. The Holy Spirit helps us in all those areas. Have you ever had something come up and you were not sure how to pray or deal with the situation then all of a sudden rising up from the inside of you, a verse of scripture comes to your remembrance? That is the Holy Spirit. God has given us His Word, the Holy Spirit takes that Word and brings it to our remembrance. Then we know the will of God in the situation and know how to pray about it. Paul in Colossians 1:9 prayed that
Spirit Week has always been an enjoyable time for McGarvin, and this year had been no different. Hosted by ASB, the week, starting on Tuesday, was packed full of events and fun. Students enjoyed themselves in days such as Twin Day, Wacky Wednesday, Sports Day, and Formal Friday. At lunch, many participated in events that include Potato Sack Races, Musical Chairs, FLAGS, and Ski Races. Gretchen Lam states, “Spirit Week was fun. There were activities everyday and many students participated.” Not only that, but even students who didn’t participate in the various activities had fun. For example, Bricia Nguyen had says, “Spirit Week was fun. Even though I didn’t participate in most of the activities, it was fun being able to watch other students
Since our new bonus structure, we have excelled in many areas to hit our bones. We have yet to see a bonus, but I can honestly say that the team we have now is the best team to date. We may not all agree on everything everyday, but we dont let that hinder our performance. We are like family. We fight, argue, don't talk all the time but we laugh, joke, and most importantly we care for one another. We may not always show it, but the love is there.
It all started on boot day of spirit week in sixth grade. I was about eleven or twelve and I owned maybe two pairs of shoes that I actually liked and wore all the time. I was crazy about spirit week and would go all out, I still am that way now. The night before, I was rummaging through my closet and couldn’t find a pair of boots anywhere. I ran upstairs and asked my mom if she had any boots because we are close to the same size, but she didn’t have any and that broke my little sixth grade heart. The next day, feeling defeated, I walked to the bus stop and saw my friend Lauren. I told her about my failed attempt to find a pair of boots, and a second later she just took off running into her house across the street. She came out of the house
It appears the Holy Spirit has graciously lead me into your midst for my required internship this academic year. As a student at United Theological Seminary for a second masters in Religious Leadership, I am writing to you today to tell you a little bit about myself.

As I approach the end of my high school career, I start thinking if I am prepared and ready to face the next step in my life. College is known to test a man’s responsibility in order to prepare him to face the world alone. Jesuit High School has changed my life throughout the years I have attended the school. Jesuit has prepared me for college and taught me how to become a more responsible man. When I was thinking of where I should apply to high school, Jesuit was not my first option; however, coming from a family of Jesuit alumni, I knew it was the only school for me. Throughout my earlier years at Jesuit, I struggled and was miserable due to the overwhelming work and rules I was required to follow. However, I soon realized what the school was about in its mission in turning its students into men for others. I have found that Jesuit High School has transformed me educationally, has made me a more responsible man, and has taught me to be a man for others.
This a great example how the Holy Spirit guides God's children to reach out to people. The pastor did not make the call. The Lord guided him to approach this person in that manner and the end result was returning to the Lord.
The Sermon on the Mount and Its Impact on Modern Society The Sermon on the Mount also known as the beatitude can be linked to our current modern day society. Jesus, during his sermon understood the immediate and future need for a life modeling code that will enable his followers to live a better community life, thus becoming a light to the world as opposed to living a life based on our limited knowledge of ourselves with no clear cut guide to achieve the answer we all need in achieving the God’s kingdom. Subsequently, the Sermon on the Mount becomes a series of life’s guidance epitomized by Jesus’ life of demonstrated unparalleled love for our imitation.

the spirit world. Well, first they would have to pass on in their human lifetime in order for their soul to be released out of their body. Although many humans would not like to experience death, but it is required in order to be saved from this sinful world. So once the soul has been released from one’s body, an angel will come and pick those souls up and deliver them to a place where a soul can settle in. This place is part of a spirit world yet the only difference is that there will be room and a boundary where one cannot escape. This place is very similar to school yet it is required in order to understand the spirit world. Once a soul has reached here, they cannot move or maybe talk as if a baby trying to walk for the first time. The way the spirit world work is entirely different
In Christian confidence, a holy messenger is portrayed as an animal that has broad wings, with elegance and excellence. While in this story, the blessed messenger is envisioned as an uncovered vintage fellow with sudden wings, found stuck inside the mud in a powerless circumstance at a darkish blustery twelve.
Baptism in (or with) the Holy Spirit is a very important, distinctive Christian experience in the life of the believer. The basis is found in the book of Acts, specifically the event of Pentecost.
18Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled with the Spirit.
Christian Tradition course exposed me to the Christian Tradition based on Biblical and church history. The course taught me the differences and similarities of Christian Tradition from other major world religions. I learned about the significance of God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit and the Trinity based on the teachings of the Bible. The course also briefly covered 2,000 years of church history but with emphasis on the impact of the Council of Nicea, Council of Chalcedon, and John and Charles Wesley on Christianity. The professor emphasized the importance of the reformation that sparked a revolution in the church.
