Theatre today as in ancient Greek times is a popular form of entertainment. Today’s theatres share many similarities with the Greek predecessors however they are also very different. There are in fact many differences for example; layout, special effects, seating arrangement, the importance of drama and religion, setting, location and architectural features.
The Globe Theater Architecture based on the structures similar to The Coliseum in Ancient Rome. Architecture on a grand size would house a capacity between 1500 to 3000 people. Classic Greek and Romans admired by the Elizabethans and sometimes great columns included the architecture. The Globe Theater design reflected the elements of Roman or Greek classical plays. It had supposed that the Globe Theater had an octagonal shaped building. The
One popular Greek drama theater in Mediterranean was the Hellenistic theater. Theaters were usually outdoors and were called amphitheaters. The Epidaurus theater in Greece is still intact and modern plays of Greeks plays are still performed there. The auditorium has stone seats and can hold 14,000 people. The circular shape of the theaters produced the best sound quality. With the best sound quality, everyone in the theater could hear the actors clearly. The theater may only have one room to screen films, but where it lacked in quantity, it made it up in quality. The first thing that drew my eyes, was the decor. The walls were painted bright read and trimmed with detailed molding that lined the whole room. The amount of detail that was put me into a state of awe. The ceiling had a concave dome, lined with lights that made a painted mural inside it glimmer with gold paint with subtle trim or red paint to emphasize warmth. The seats were not like that of a typical theater where they are crammed tight together with narrow hallways. The seats were spaced comfortably for leg room and three people could easily walk down the aisles. The environment I witnessed had been lost through the ages and I wish I could enjoy more often. In the front of the auditorium was not only the projection screen that spanned easily twenty feet in the air, but a stage that could easily be used for live performances. I could only wonder how many stories or musical performances must have been heard by these walls over the years.

The front seat is always expensive than the back seat because of the good view. But I never know that there is a seat called tweet seats, and this seat is reserved to patrons that they can tweet what happen in the theatre. I heard that in movie theatre, we are not allow to take photo or video while playing, and I am not sure is it this also the rule in living theatre? For those people who are not in tweet seat, are they not allowing to using their phone to take picture or videos during

First off, the unique three quarter thrust promenade staging is not something you typically see. There were aspects of the staging that were absolutely delightful, and aspects which hindered the performance. The promenade staging has the audience sit on the stage on platforms and have to move as the actors try to act around them. This setup allowed for high levels of audience engagement and hilarious moments; meanwhile the actors were forced to improvise their way through situations. My initial response to this setup was extremely positive and I couldn’t wait to get onstage and mess with the audience. However, once we were actually performing the show, there were many complications that came with this style of seating. The audience generally preferred to sit in the house and only on a few occasions do I feel that the promenade staging was used to it’s fullest potential. The audience likely preferred the house seating because of the comfort of having back support, not having to give up your seat every 5 minutes, and the ability to see what is happening at all times. If you sat on the stage, there were many moments with serious sightline issues and I could imagine that this frustrated some people. These problems did not over power the positive responses of the audience to seeing action happen right in front of your eyes.

A pair of speakers — as in stereo — will suffice, although having a surround sound system of multiple speakers can increase the ambiance and “flavor” of what’s being heard. The most important thing about the speakers is that they “match up,” which is to say that the front left and right (used in a standard stereo speaker configuration or as the left and right “main” speakers) should be from the same company as then they will have the same sonic resonance. Should a 5.1 or 7.1 audio system be present in the home theater, then the center channel speaker should also be from the same company. And if speakers need to be put into ceilings or mounted and so requires help, there are professional installation companies that can be of aid
The two rules for creating optimal acoustics are diffusion and absorption. Everyone enjoys listening to music while they drive, and songs can often sound better in the car. This is due to the idea that there are few flat hard surfaces, and plenty of things to absorb sounds like seat cushions and even our bodies. The same is true at the theatre where walls, floors, and ceilings are often curved or slanted, and curtains and seating are added for absorption.
First we have the very stage itself. Because of drama's close connection with religion, theaters were often located in or near sanctuaries. The Theater of Dionysus in Athens was placed in the sacred precinct of Dionysus at the foot of the Acropolis. There was also a theater on Apollo's sacred island of Delos. The theaters were very large, open-air structures that took advantage of hillsides for their seating. They could also be
