The artifact that shows and represents me during my years in high school is my Principal’s Honor Roll Award. This artifact came from all my classes based on all the grades I earned. The artifact I was awarded, was acquired by all, the effort I put into my classes by turning in my homework, classwork, passing my quizzes and by participating during class. I earned this award by earning 3.5 GPA or better.
The Principal’s Honor Roll Award that has been awarded to me fits into this category because in order to get awarded, I have created a passion and have worked in developing my grades over a period of time. In my last award, it “Certifies that Bryan Garcia Mazariegos successfully completed the Spring 2017 semester with a Grade Point Average of

I was an effective communicator because in some classes if I did not understand any given material I would ask my fellow peers or my teachers for help regarding the topic. I was also an effective communicator because in various classes I would present in groups or by myself on a given topic, this demonstrates that I was an effective communicator by successfully presenting information to my fellow peers and teachers/professionals. Another “Student Learning Outcome” that shows how this award is one of my accomplishments is by being a willing collaborator. In the past years of my high school experience, I have been a willing collaborator because I am a person who contributes to the success of not only for me but also to my fellow peers. This award also demonstrates that I have kept myself accountable and taken myself accountable to reach my goals. This award shows I am a critical thinker. I was a critical thinker because I am an individual who was synthesized relevant information from reliable sources and have answered many severe problems. This award shows that I have dedicated my time and effort in doing various types of work in my classes and have earned an either an A or
A ribbon for kids tractor pull in Finney County, a certificate for participating in seventh grade volleyball, a medal for the fifth grade spelling bee, a ribbon for pee wee swine showmanship, a trophy for five to six year old soccer; these are just a few among the many awards of participation I found in my room beneath the dust. Similar to other students, I grew up receiving trophy after trophy, medal after medal, and ribbon after ribbon for every county fair, sports season, and spelling bee I participated in.
A high school honors student should have grades that are over the required GPA to graduate high school. There GPA should reach or exceed a 3.5. A student who has achieved honors should be going above and beyond the standards for high school by applying themselves to numerous extra circular activities and community service opportunities. These activities should be benefiting their community or knowledge in some way shape or form. An honors student should've achieved outstanding work ethics in all categories of their social and school life. They should apply their knowledge in class by answering questions, and by trying to achieve the maximum score possible on any assessment. They should have a good balance between there social and educational
My most significant accomplishment is being honored to be Marshal from 9th to 11th grades during high school. During this same time I have also received other awards for: Overall All A’s, Spanish, Yearbook, and Bible. This has been a huge accomplishment for me and after I graduate and go to Beaufort County Community College I will take all of this academic success with
I believe I should receive this award because I have proven throughout my school career (and more specifically, my high school career) that I am a very capable student who is persistent and able to excel, even when under troubling circumstances. My ability to “bounce back” after suffering from events that have seriously and negatively impacted my life is a trait that is, I believe, rare in students today, as the demands of in modern teenagers’ educational and social lives grow and will likely continue to grow in the near future. During my high school year, I have struggled with an eating disorder, a parent’s loss of work, the death of a friend, and a severe health issue on the part of my mother. Yet, despite this, I have successfully maintained
The award is hung up on our family bulletin board littered amongst report cards, certificates and sport pictures. Although these items seem to rotate in and out as the years go by this award is fixed. Everytime I walk by the award it brings me back to that moment in that auditorium. It lets me know whenever I’m struggling or get down on myself that there is a way and all find
That is the only educational award I've ever gotten. My achievement is conquering a fear that I use to have about spiders, but I got over that.My second achievement is learning how to ride a bike at the age of five on the first day so I was really happy about that.I made a bunch of friends over time and back then I was really shy to talk to other people. I learned how to fish with my dad and my mom taught me how to cook.I got a game system at the age of four, it was a bike game it was pretty cool and awesome. I thought getting a game was like an award back then for being a good student and having good grades at
In my 12 years of school I have won a variety of awards. They range from sports, academics, participation, and some for just who I am as a person. I am proud for each and every single one of those awards. Even though some might be for just trying, I still take them as accomplishments. The one award that stands out from all the others is the award that I won in my eighth grade year, The President’s Academic Achievement Award.
If I was to receive an award for my high school years is would probably be called my high school diploma and be awarded to me for getting the required amount of credits. Kidding of course, I honestly think that if I was to get an award I would receive the first annual Joseph Gaiser medal of good vibes. No matter what the day or what the weather I will always have a smile and crack a joke or two. Nothing gets to me and puts me in a bad mood easily. So a lot of people can use me as an outlet to ease their frustrations. I will always wave and say hello in the halls and am participating in class. I am very comfortable with other people and I think that helps them relax and release a little tension and have a good time. That is really important
During my time spent in elementary, I was filled with hope. Hope that one day I would grow up and go to college. Till this day this dream hasn’t changed, but my grades have though. Constantly, I was on A honor roll. My parents congratulated me for having high grades, and being smarter than most people in my
Today was my ‘Grade 6 Graduation’, and as in every graduation, there are awards. I always yearned specifically for three: Principal Award for Student Leadership, Academic Award, and French Award. For three years, I have seen students getting on that stage and
Michaela has shown a good understanding of the concepts and ideas discussed in our Unit of Inquiry. She effectively engaged herself in a range of collaborative discussions (one-on-one, in groups, and teacher-led) with diverse partners. She identified and analyzed problems and provided solutions by finding different ways to approach a problem. Moreover, she consistently reflected on her own works and used insights gained through reflection to improve her own or other's work or situation. However, Michaela has to continue working on her oral presentation skills; using loud and clear voice when presenting and elaborating her ideas. Student presentations will be done regularly in the class to provide more opportunities for practice and feedback.
Throughout my high school career, I have continued to gain the skills needed to meet the high standards of an honor student. I was able to cooperate effectively with my
Since my high school career began, I have maintained a 4.0 grade point average. It is my intent to receive the Academic Achievement Award for doing so. I believe that through my experiences, both academically and non-academically, have greatly prepared me for college. These experiences include becoming a docent for the
What makes me deserving of this award is that I have not only excelled as a student maintaining a 3.9 GPA or higher all four year, but also as an athlete winning state my sophmore year and being a state runner up my junior year. Being able to balance my acedemics and school work was at times very stressful, but I am so proud of myself for all that I have acomplished. When it comes to acedemics, I was never naturally talented and always had to work hard for the grades I recieved, which is why I feel as though I have earned
By far, my greatest academic achievement is the Jacket of Excellence that Venice High School awards for topping students. Students earn this award by having an overall 3.75 GPA weighted and never had more than three unsatisfactory grades on final report cards. Furthermore, receiving the Jacket of Excellence award proves that no matter the obstacles in my life, I can overcome them and still succeed in school. Throughout my high school career, I’ve gone through asperous situations, but this hasn’t stopped me from trying in school. So, the Jacket of Excellence represents multitudinous accomplishments.
