Many people are hostile to change ;however,it is necessary to modify our lives once in awhile to challenge ourselves, become more flexible, and smarter.
As I said above, some people are hostile ,even afraid,to change ; therefore, the decision itself is a challenge to go out of our comfort zone and try something new.For example,in the book “Divergent”,Tris Prior must choose who her allegiance lies with;this choice will challenge her ,for it will decide her whole lifestyle.
Furthermore, change is about trying different things ;moreover, you will be ready to adapt to new circumstances if you are more frequent to change.Whether it is moving to another state or deciding to eat healthier, frequent changes lead to wonderful opportunities and
“How many things have to happen to you,” Robert Frost Writes, “before something occurs to you?” A person wakes up every morning to the same gray walls and eats the same flavorless slop. Seeing no changes they seem to ask themselves if life is worth living. They are unhappy but are afraid of new environments and unknown areas. Wishing things can go back to when their worries were as simple as trying to memorize the multiplication tables. Although it is written that change is in every person’s destiny, there are several reasons a person might or might not seek out change. For instance, a person’s environment or way of living can be one of the hardest things to change. Living in the projects, bills to pay and people to obey are a few reasons many steer away from change. Secondly unexpected life events like suddenly having to become a parent and learning how to raise a baby while trying to balance sudden deaths that may occur. Thirdly, discovering a person’s true emotions for another human being can create what I like to call a domino effect. Whether you consider the environment to be the atmosphere around you or the place to which a person calls home, one thing is certain that in any environment a person must adjust in order to survive, and through any adjustments comes change.
Change in our lives is a part of living. Without change we would no be here today living as successfully as we are. People don?t always see changes in their life as for the best, but usually when people see through the
Change should be seen as a challenge and embraced with enthusiasm (Marquis & Huston, 2012). In my professional and personal life, I view and respond to change as a way to make improvements to existing regulations and circumstances. I embark upon the quest with determination to succeed at whatever task is presented to me. Life without change can become unchallenging and stagnant (Marquis & Huston, 2012). As society and technology advance, you must incorporate the necessary transformations that arise with it.
Trying new things, like a new home, a new job, or a new hobby are all things that can change people and that can be a challenge. New ideas, new people, new rules, and really anything that is different can change people. Change can be a good thing or a bad thing. Nevertheless, change is inevitable and it can’t be avoided. Take King George III for example.
People can change from being forced, or just wanting to transform for the better. In Charles Dickens’ classic story A Christmas Carol, Ebenezer Scrooge learns to change for the better. He is accompanied by three ghosts, Past, Present and Future, that make him realize he needs to alter his actions. People can adapt mentally and physically. Their fate lies in the hands of other people willing to accept them for who they are or not. Willing to accept people that are brave enough to change is a good trait to have. Wanting a drastic transformation in your life will require assistance of showing sedulous care, perseverance, and commitment.
I evolved as a person and became more independent because of this change. Some people might enjoy change and find it easy to accept while others struggle but eventually learn to accept it. Adapting to change is an essential part of developing one's own personality. Instead of letting it bring us down, we must use it to grow. People react differently to change but people must realize the importance of adapting to it and be able to learn from
It is much better to be your authentic self, but be hated, than to be fake, but loved by all. Take something complicated and confusing and make it warm and comforting, so it can protect you from other people’s judgement. Watch people succumb to madness with much encouragement. Let them look at you with disapproval, and then disapprove their disapproval by inviting them to be an outcast. Be fine with being on your own despite society thinking it is “uncool”, or join all of the other blind followers foolishly trying to conform.
“One choice decides your friends. One choice defines your beliefs. One choice determines your loyalties - forever. One choice can transform you” (Roth 1). These words of Beatrice Prior, the main character in Veronica Roth’s novel Divergent perfectly describes what happens throughout the book. Tris lives in a dystopian society in which once you turn 16 there is a choosing ceremony in which you choose a faction in which you spend the rest of your life. Tris chooses Dauntless a faction known for their fearlessness and she has to make choices which change her life greatly and thus affect her. Therefore, a common theme in Divergent is about the choices you make and how your choices change your identity.
Being able to accept change in the workplace and in life is a sign of a successful person. It is most important to continuously adjust your procedures of how something is done. Is there a better way, better technology to accomplish your tasks? We all agree it is always easier to stay with what we know but not always better. Daily I am constantly adjusting what my priorities are depending what
For instance, people make many alternations, like getting new jobs, moving to certain areas,or even making other friends. They are not adjusted to the modifications they make; it's a process that just needs time to get used to.
Teenagers are treated like unimportant members of today's society because apparently since they are going through some changes like being hormonal and don't have experience with certain situations that they are not entitled to their opinion. When in reality adults tend to make outrageous ideas while teenagers are some of the most innovative people there are making it easier for them to come up with a creative solution for problems. Everyone believes that all teenagers are rude and disrespectful, but when in certain places like fast food chains the ones I see being rude are the old adults that are hypocritically calling teenagers rude. There are so many instances where I have seen kids being brushed aside for wanting to voice their opinion.
When it comes to fighting someone people always want others to watch them fight. The reasons why I say this is because they want people to see how they are really fight. When there are student at school they want people to fight then it be gang members fighting in school and other stuff but then when it hit the streets people be having guns and stuff trying to kill each other then they be wanting everyone to jump in. so therefore I’m trying to say if somebody is trying to fight and they know they are going to lose the fight they are going to jump the person they are going to fight.
Change also brings hope and a sense of renewal. It reinvigorates, it inspires and is emotional.
In my life, I have been exposed to a challenge called change. Change can occur in many different ways and is dealt with in many different ways. I have come to the awareness that change can be the deepest of all things. I always thought that change occurred when you moved to a state or when you lost someone real close to you. Those are a challenge to change, yes, but change doesn’t have to occur over a climactic incident. It can just appear overnight when your brain winds up when it’s time to do something different. Even with friends that you used to have and know that move on. For example, most of my friends from elementary school, I don’t even talk to them anymore.
When you want to change your life you must learn to embrace change with love and thankfulness for all the blessings in your life. You cannot expand and become a more accomplished individual without change. Most people shy away from change which is a big reason as to why they stay “stuck”.
