The ideas brought upon when discussing flags roles in society are applicable to my life and many others, even though we might not realize this. Personally, these ideas have affected my family by way of my Dad. My father loves geography. He majored in geography with emphasis in cartography, and brought it upon himself to educated me at a young age the importance of geography. Be it through state capitals, international borders, or in this case flags, he was constantly quizing me on these items of geography. This in turn influenced my love of trivia and it’s profoundly true that he has impacted my life in this way.
