Gotham has the capability to manipulate almost anyone she would like to in order to get her way. Some of Mother Gotham strengths are using her young looks and charming ways to get others do her dirty work for her.She manipulates others to do what she wants so she doesn't seem like she's the “bad guy” in any situation. An example of her strength is when she talks to a little man outside the bar and makes him tell her were the end of the secret escape tunnel is.
However, Mothers Gotham weaknesses includes the war with her own age. Gotham has to constantly return to Rapunzels tower to use her hair to stay young. Without the power of ra Rapunzels hair then Mother Gotham will eventually return back to her original age which would be dead. An example of her weakness is that everyday Mother Gotham has to return to the tower looking far much older, and much more weaker than the previous day. With this we can assume that without Rapunzels hair Mother Gotham is weak and vulnerable. Mother Gotham gets obviously older everyday she doesn't receive the power of Rapunzels
Batman contradicts his morals while he is fighting the mutant leader and when he is about to shoot him he stops himself with “though that means crossing a line I drew for myself thirty years ago”. While Batman did not kill the mutant leader, earlier on Batman shoots a mutant grunt with a machine gun and faded blood is splattered behind the criminal holding a baby captive (Miller, 64). Later on in the novel Batman says to the joker “a gun is a coward’s weapon, a liars weapon” (Miller, 149). Batman has power to stick to his morals, to take on the evil of Gotham City, and to make the decision to deliver justice no matter whose side of the law he is. However, in the novel he has clearly stated that killing someone crosses his morals and that he despises guns yet he uses them to kill criminals. Batman crosses his golden rule of not killing criminals and shows that he will go above his own moral code of justice.
Mother Gothel’s character presents several different aspects which make it hard for me to empathize with her. For starters, Mother Gothel’s obsession with youth allows her to disregard Rapunzel’s parents. As a parent, the thought
The town of Gotham goes into hiding and protecting because of Bane. Bane has many people in the power elite who are working for him on the bad side. The people of Gotham turn to theft and lose control of their sanity because of their fear of dying. Bane made people lose their minds due to fear and uncertainty. These factors pushed them over the edge into committing crime. “Social Disorganization researchers perceived criminals and delinquents to be normal individuals whose criminal acts were stimulated by their environment” (Rafter and Brown 2011: 50). Bane put up a TV for Batman to watch his city crumble to the ground after Bane releases all the prisoners who have been kept in prison for years on end. “Regarding rates of self-reported offending,
Upon her arrival to take Rapunzel back home, however, she doesn 't quite get the receive she’d hoped for. Rapunzel doesn 't
Night falls upon the city of Gotham. Sirens wail over the chattering crowd. Cop cars zoom past the thick steam that rises from the sewer beneath the dingy city streets. Somewhere beyond an unknown wail of an alarm pierces through the night air. Typical night in Gotham. Typical never ending spree of robberies, and typical GCPD taking their time to arrive on the scene. High above the noisy city streets, crouched in the shadows on an old building, a slender beauty with red hair slouched. Her long red locks hide her pale angelic face from the world while cat like green eyes gazed upon the action happening below.
Batman comes off more of a “player” as throughout the comics and in the initial episode of 1966 he grabs the “attention” of women. Midhurst explains, “The threat she embodies is nothing less than heterosexuality itself, the deadliest threat of the Bat-couple” (157). For example, in The Batman the Golden age Cat women utters, “I sort of wish the batman were driving this car and I were sitting beside him. And we were just another boy and girl out for a ride” (396, 8). Throughout the series Cat women appears and she is the criminal that batman allows to get away with it because of his evident love for her. Batman gets thrown off of his mission fighting crime In addition, in the episode seen in class “Hi Diddle Riddle” batman was sent to a disco by the Riddler. As soon as batman walks in a women is in awe struck as she says “its Batman” and feints. After that, he is seen being flirtatious with Molly who is ally of the Riddler. He goes as far as having a drink with her and even dancing with her. In that moment he forgets what he actually is there looking for, by being mesmerized by the seductive women. It gives the idea that Batman can get away with any

Gotham, created by Bruno Heller, is one of the most enticing and beloved TV dramas of the year. It has won Critics' Choice Television Award for Most Exciting New Series, and each season keeps upping the game. It is a genius series because of its breathtaking cinematography and its brilliant cast and script. Their hooks are different from regular crime shows because it takes the familiarity of the story and places it in a different point of view. It has an epic list of Batman villains. They connect us to the characters that we already love and fear, and give us new meanings to their identities. Gotham city has only been depicted a handful of times in film, and Gotham takes the gray and dark elements of the worn out city and applies it beautifully.
Batman is one of the many fictional superheroes which appears in the “American comic books” that is published by the DC comics. The character is a secret identity for Bruce Wayne, the only heir to Wayne Enterprises. Bruce Wayne swore an oath of vengeance when he witnessed the death of his parents;Thomas Wayne and Martha Wayne (Diamond, 2015). Bat man combats criminals in Gotham: a fictional city, with assistance from various characters, for example, his butler Alfred and Gordon; Gotham city police commissioner. Unlike many of the superheroes characters, Batman possesses no powers .Bruce Wayne trained himself intellectually and physically .it is from dedication to training he possessed the useful traits of physical prowess, martial arts skills, detective skills and indomitable will to fight for justice. Though his motive is to combat crime and protect people of Gotham city from criminals, the justice system in most of the times views Batman as a villain and vigilante. He can inflict fear to Gotham city criminals thereby bringing calmness to the city. I identify myself with the Batman character through his selfless will for justice, his strong determination to do good
Rapunzel was a girl who lived in an isolated tower with her foster mother, Gothel. Mother Gothel didn’t want to let Rapunzel left the tower because Rapunzel’s golden hair had magic that could retain Gothel’s youth. She told Rapunzel that the outside world was dangerous. One day, a thief named Flynn Ryder went into the tower unintentionally because he stole a crown and got chased. Rapunzel captured Flynn by using her frying pan. Rapunzel requested the Flynn to accompany her see the lanterns in exchange for the crown. During their journey, Flynn and Rapunzel went into a pub that was full of bad guys as Gothel warned Rapunzel. Actually, the villains were not bad as Rapunzel thoughts. As similar as Rapunzel, the villains had dreams. When the royal
In the novel Rapunzel Untangled, Rapunzel is an eighteen year old girl who is locked away in a tower. Her mother comes to visit her every morning and night at six o’clock. In addition, her mother tells her, her hair holds magical powers that will save humanity. However she is not allowed to go outside because of her SCID’s (which means she has to stay inside because she is allergic to the outside world). In the beginning of the novel, Rapunzel starts to notice her and her mother's differences in appearances, like hair and eye color, but doesn't question it because her Mom is the only person she knows. While Rapunzel was doing homework on her computer, she stumbled across Facebook. She wanted to see kids her own age on there so, she typed in
Rapunzel followed them inside and confronted the sorceress. The sorceress said that she wanted to get revenge on Rapunzel by kidnapping her family and tearing her life apart. A bit alarmed by this, Rapunzel conjured up her own magic she learned at the library and summoned a wolf that attacked the sorceress. The sorceress let go off Cate and tried to run away, but was eaten by the wolf.
When she left her spurious mother Rapunzel did leave her something, she she made a little doggie house out of some of the cardboard so she would have a least something to stay in. she also left her some company, her fake prince that was still passed out under her bed. Ad Rapunzel continued with her journey her symptoms such as her “pet” pascal. Pascal is a chameleon that Rapunzel often confined in as if he were actually interacting with her, which is only a further sign of hallucinations that reinforce the diagnose of a schizophrenic. Rapunzel throughout the journey mental struggled with understanding what was real, and what was a fantasy that she had made up in her head. A schizophrenic often distorts reality so when she was painting on the wall she couldn't distinguish what was real and what she was dreaming about such a the floating lanterns. Originally Rapunzel was convinced that the floating lanterns were stars in the sky and painted them as such on the wall because she did not know that they were in fact lanterns, and not being to make this clear distinction is a symptom of her schizophrenia caused by her isolation.
