The Roaring Twenties were a time of great change economically, socially and politically. The American culture was "roaring" in terms of style and social trends, but also the economy was "roaring" as well. The 1920s made a huge impact on the world. There were many ways in which society has changed during the 1920s. Three ways in which society has changed in this time would be the booming economy, entertainment, and prohibition.

One way in which society has changed during the 1920s would be because of the booming economy. The 1920s was a typical boom cycle. It was considered this due to the fact that the stock market was at it's highest point in history. The thing to do during this time period was to start buying stocks. The boom cycle consisted of an increased demand for goods, production, sales, profit, power, etc. This phase has changed the way Americans lived and helped create the modern consumer economy. The 1920s were a time period of rapid economic growth in the United States. Due to this there was more to do. Entertainment was becoming popular at this time. Entertainment consisted of movies, music, sports, etc. In 1919, the first radio station was started and radios became a huge hit broadcasting news, entertainment, and advertisements. Movies quickly became a part of American society and was one of the biggest forms of entertainment during this time era. Music (epecially jazz) was a very big hit during the 1920s. Sports (mainly baseball) actualy ended up becoming a gateway for celebrities and heroes during the 1920s. Americans often looked up to and admired these celebrities as role models in a way.
