I can't put into words how much this personalized recommendation means to me. I am truly touched and appreciative of your continuous efforts to support me and move me into the next step of my academic career. I honestly don't think I could have survived this semester without your guidance and perspective. Thank you for contributing to my success and always being there for
For the last few years, I have searched for the right curriculum that motivates me to better myself and my surroundings. Your school and staff has been helpful in guiding me through the process to join your program. My motivation to pursue a higher education has been paramount and your curriculum advisor makes me feel part of the family. Throughout my professional and
Thank you again for writing me a letter of recommendation for Dianna L. Priddle Memorial Scholarship. I am very excited to let you know that I received the result of the scholarship. I am granted with $500 award each semester for one year. Again, thank you so much for the effort and time you spent on the letter, I greatly appreciate it...
Today I wrote this letter to introduce myself to you for the purpose of improving our collaboration during this semester. As a first son and a fifth child in the family, I’ve received many loves from my parents and my four older sisters. My family migrated from Vietnam to the United States five years ago and carried our new hopes and dreams to this place. I was having a tough time in maintaining my native language and learning English at the same time. I don’t have any interest in reading books because I‘ve never really enjoy any book that I’ve read in the past, or just because I haven’t read as much book as i thought I did. My goal for this year is to past every classes with an A. The reason is I don’t want to lose my financial aid, and
I would like to begin by thanking the Online Graduate Admissions Program for taking the time out of their busy schedules to review my application and this letter. This letter outlines how my inexperience and personal events impacted my overall GPA shown on my official transcripts.
I am writing to express my gratitude for your decision to write a recommendation so that I may attend the Clover Hill Math and Science Specialty Center. This program will help me greatly as I venture further into more complex work in college and in the career that I pursue. I believe that the knowledge you bestowed upon me will guide me through this program towards success.
I appreciate the Admissions Committee considering me for enrollment at The University of Chicago and giving me this opportunity to reiterate the merits of my application. The University of Chicago is one of my top choices for college. It was devastating to be deferred, but thank you for the wake-up call that your admission decision has inspired. Your letter caused me to review my application and reread the essay responses I submitted. I didn’t find enough of my voice, my energy, my drive, and my intentions to pursue my interests with passion. In short, if I didn’t get a good sense of me then I probably didn’t make a strong enough impression on you. I intend to change that with this letter.
Diverse and inclusive learning environments are important to me because I am an immigrant. I arrived from Mexico when I was nineteen years old and since I put a foot into this country, I learned that I was not welcome. Writing about me it’s a little hard. I have so many memories that I would like to share but I especially want to tell you one story that might change the way you see immigrants like me. I have been living in the United States since 2006. I’m a victim of human trafficking that survived and overcame many barriers. Moreover, the fact that I suffered so much during so many years made me stronger and also helped me to feel that the world should know that human trafficking is the modern form of slavery. The reason that I want to be a journalist and communicator is because I want to be the voice of the people that cannot speak. Hopefully, one day I will be able to help others with the power of information. I want to work for the Latina community because the lack of education makes them victims of several crimes. I’m a single mother too that wants to give to her son the opportunity to achieve all his dreams without all the
I have had the pleasure of getting to know Kenneth Jackson during his junior year as his college counselor. Over the course of the year, I have come to know a student who is academically curious, independent and self-motivated. It is with great enthusiasm that I write this recommendation letter on his behalf.
Thank you very much for coming to every meeting during this weeks. I am so proud of your decision of applying to graduate school and pursue your masters degree. I hope I was of help when sending your requests for letters of recommendation. Let me know if you need additional help with it.
ESSAYS – A formal piece of written text that has been produced by the learner for a specific topic
Writing is a place where you can get lost to create stories or grab attention for an audience. However, writing can be done pretty much anywhere and by anybody. For me, I can say writing has provided me many open doors. Helping me to get closure from my father, gained positive aspects, and in some areas, I struggled. But writing is an influence that you must have because it brings out the inner part of you to rise above. Like maybe you can't specifically say it to a particular person. Where as to me I've been in that situation but I've found it easier to write to them. Providing a sense of you going out of the way to provide time to write to them means a lot to a particular person or for me. Sometimes writing is a place where I can get lost or maybe find my weaknesses and strengths overall writing has influenced me to do good.
Hi I’m Paige and if you had told me last year I’d be in Office Administration I would’ve said, “no way, not even close”. That’s one of those jobs requiring you to be cool calm and collected. The atmospheres are peaceful and then people work constantly. It’s the opposite of my desired profession and personality. I’m the opposite of my career, or well it was until I met my instructor, Miss Young. She changed my mind about how I perceived the trade and what I could do with the skills once I completed. Was very instrumental in helping me obtain the necessary skills to make the most money in the field of Office work. I managed to get my typing up to the speed of over 60 words per minute. I learned all the processes of Windows Operating Systems, I even got a glimpse of Windows 10. Using
Growing up I learned to read in school like most others, but when it came to writing I was at a huge disadvantage. I have a disability called dysgraphia which effects the way I write. When it would come time for me to do my class work my peers and the teacher would struggle to understand what I had wrote on the assignment which would lead to chastisement from my peers. At one point I stopped enjoying school and even stopped doing my work. On top of the chastisement writing became too much of a chore for me to handle as I would end up growing tired both physically and mentally due to the way I would hold my pencil it would hurt my hand which would cause me to not be able to write for long periods of time without taking a break between paragraphs. Upon review of my work I would mentally beat myself up over the quality of my hand writing. I would find it tiring to constantly checking my letter alignment and spacing that I would spend five minutes writing and the next ten looking over what I had just wrote and re writing it all over again all while being mad at myself for not being able to write like my peers especially when it came to writing in cursive.
It is with great honor to be writing this letter of recommendation. Over the years I have had the pleasure of working with Marcy and getting to know the great woman she is today.
I am writing to you on behalf of senior Alexander Wiltz in support of his application to your university. For the last two years I have served as his college counselor. He is a solid student that continues to improve academically as he learns to balance his time between academics and athletics. His junior year was one of growth finishing the year with a 3.2, thus improving his overall average to a 3.14. Determined to continue the upward trend, he made the decision to scale back his athletic involvement to focus on his academics. His grades have been remarkable and it is shaping to be his best year academically. Alex chose to pursue electives geared towards business and plans to pursue the major in college. He spends his summers shadowing at
