Distinguished guests, administrators, faculty, families, friends and members of the Class of 2016: I am honored and humbled for the privilege to stand before you this morning. I have to admit it’s a little nerve-wracking too. My name is Sara Pirooz and I am graduating with a doctorate from the Genetics, Molecular and Cellular Biology Program. So how did we end up here today? Every individual eventually blooms with their own personality, morals, and perspectives, however, the education and values we learn along the way mold our character. Throughout our lives we will always find in ourselves patterns of our family. They held our hands on our first days of new adventures, and wiped our tears when our delicate worlds were rocked. To our families thank you for your patience and for catching us when we failed. Today I actually want to congratulate you. This is your day. Without your help and support (and of course our hard work and determination), none of this would be possible. Now to the graduates, I know we have all taken different paths to get here today, but we made it. Congratulations. When we first arrived at USC, I’m sure many of you were nervous and full of anxiety. Now here we are about to accept a piece of paper declaring us to be bona fide scientists. For me, I wish I could say USC provided me with amazing years packed with just rainbows and smiles. I wish I could say that USC never frustrated me, stressed me out, or constantly made me sleep deprived. Believe me,
I want to start off this evening by giving my appreciation for the people who have played an important role in shaping our lives up to graduation. I want to thank the people that supported us through our heart breaks and our successes, to those who served as a friend when we needed them most, to the people who served us hot food after a long day of school, and who helped make every party and celebration a success. Yes, I am talking about the wonderful people at Chipotle. #ChipotleisLife. Just kidding, I sincerely want to thank our
First off I would like to congratulate everyone for making it this far. I would like to thank my classmates, my friends, and my family. I especially want to thank our teachers, for always supporting and encouraging us. If it weren’t for the people who support us daily, we would not be where we are today. I would like everyone to turn to their families, and teachers to thank them for all that they have done for us.
I’d like to start by thanking everyone who is with us today. Friends, family, staff, everyone. It’s an honor to be able to share such an incredible day with the lot of you. As we stand here today on what can only be described as the edge of our future, it becomes very apparent that it’s not a distant reality anymore. It begins here. It begins today. We began this journey as scared little kids, each with the same goal; to get to this stage. What we’ve learned along the way will serve us as we move on into our futures. Even though we started with the same goal, some of us will go on to college, others will go straight to being considered the working class. Each of us, however, will travel
I am both honored and flattered to have been asked to speak for this wonderful occasion. As I started to draft this speech, I thought, “What is the world am I possibly going to say?” (The majority of you listen to me speak enough during the day.) The word SUCCESS came to mind.
Good morning Principle Boyd, proud parents, faculty, and fellow graduates, to this extraordinary celebration breakfast, in honor of Our Lady of Grace Catholic School Class of 2017. Yes, I am graduating 8th grade, but I still have to make my bed, be nice to my siblings, do my chores, I cannot drive a car, I must continue putting my Iphone into my locker every night, so that I will not be grounded! Nevertheless, I am graduating from Our Lady of Grace Catholic School, and I feel like I found a pot-of-gold at the end of the rainbow.
In conclusion, I hope to join the USC academic family someday soon. My career has prepared me sufficiently to undertake the challenges required to succeed at the next level of education. USC has been extremely beneficial to my professional career, with offering

My nine years at Saint John Neumann have been great ones and I wouldn’t give them up for any other school. I have grown in all aspects of my life and I am so thankful for those who have guided me along my journey. I am extremely sad to be leaving this wonderful environment, but then again I am happy that I am prepared for years to come. Thank you again to everyone who has helped me on my journey, and God bless you

Now on behalf of all of us graduating seniors, I'd like to thank all of the parents for all of the
