We turn on the television and we see war, terrorism and bloodshed all over the world. Whether it be over land or plain hatred for another religion as we see in the middle East. In my opinion, conflict and hatred is something that will never die, however, with that being said, I strongly believe that music can bring love to a world full of hate. It is something that every single person can find joy and happiness in and most importantly, it is incredible to see how the most diverse people can come together for the love of music.
When asking my mother what comes to mind when she hears the word 'music', she said that music gives her a sense of tranquillity and warmth while bringing back memories of good times with my step father or memories of

It has many different effects on people and is often used as a tool to escape reality and create a calm and magical space where you can not just hear the music but furthermore, you can taste, smell and view the imagery that the song gives off. My favourite song, 'Old Pine' by Ben Howard, creates the most unbelievable image of the exploration of nature with the people you love the most and the extreme peacefulness, watching the stars on the beach by the woods, and singing songs while I can smell the nature in the woods and taste the burgers on Habonim …show more content…
Picking up my guitar and playing that first chord has the effect of putting me into a trance where nothing else matters but my guitar and I. Creating a song is much like living your life. You may have an idea of what you want to achieve and what you want the song to sound like, however, mistakes will be made. But in the end, the song that you have created is yours to cherish, and your song is what defines you. You may choose to share your song with others or keep it to yourself but your life can be magical and fun depending on how you choose to live

Music is another language people use whenever they want to express their feelings. Whether they are angry or passionate, there is always a melody for that emotion. It is universal and it brings people together. There are so many amazing artists that have a substantial influence on this generation and past generations.
Music is an important part of this world and has been around since the beginning of time from simple rhythms to more complex tools. Music not only brings pleasure but it has also brought an understanding to people about the time periods through the lyrics and music videos created. But what about the years before music videos and before lyrics fully occupied songs. During the 1920s lyrics were at the starting line and would originally only be located in a small area of the song or would just repeat the same thing over and over again without any true interpretable meaning. To top off that there were no music videos created during this time, which overall limited the ways music of the 1920s could be interpreted unlike music from the 2000s that
Musicians are some of the most influential people on earth. Since time immemorial they have used songs to entertain and deliver messages to the public. Music has been used in the past to promote peace, promote gender equality and provide awareness on matters such as the environment and certain illnesses. I remember the songs my mother used to play in the morning. While cleaning the house, music would say “What do you know about this music?” In actuality, I did not know anything, I just liked the sound. Music can influence behavior, let alone determine actions. My mother for example, listens to the upbeat music of the seventy’s and the eighty’s, just as a religious person uses gospel music. It reflects a positive
Music is a wonderful thing. It is a wonderful way of getting to know someone, or even showing someone who you are. It’s a way to change the world, to make a difference because it can help people get through rough times, it’s also a great way to get your feelings out. Music is the one thing people have in common, because even though not everyone has the same music taste but we all do enjoy music in some way. All of the fame for popular artists didn’t matter in the sixties; they wanted peace, just like the people did.
Music is composed of sounds intertwined with melody and rhythm that can have powerful effects on a person. It can help people focus on tasks or calm the mind. Research has shown that music has beneficial effects on the mind, body, and health of a person. A journal article by Rastogi, Solanki, and Zafar (2013) refers, on the contrary, to:
In summary, music is the bread of life that feeds my soul. It is the only language that I feel is universally recognized and ultimately understood. It takes me back to the past, whether it is good or bad, but it also brings me back to the present state. Most of all music heals me in so many ways like being calm, happy, and at peace. Music is indeed, truly spiritual.
Music is respect. Respect to ones self and to others, whether it is someone that has the same taste in music as you, or someone that has the complete opposite taste as you. That’s something I see happen way to much, people bashing on other people because of what they listen to. Instead of accepting that everyone isn’t going to like what you like. Music is supposed to be something we all have in common, it’s supposed to bring us together and create peace, not turn us against each other. It’s something that we all do, including me at times. Not only in music but in everyday life.
When people say "music saved my life," they are saying they found themselves once to be weak and eventually found strength through music. You can find yourself alone in the life you live but when you listen to music you realize you'll never be alone. I believe music gives people a sense of hope that they don't have to feel like they're the only one's going through things. Music can express more than words and it gives people a constant when their world seems to be chaotic. It's something some people need in their life and to be who they are and go on day by day.
Music affects many people in different ways. Hearing a certain song usually triggers a certain emotion linked to that song. Some of the emotions are derived from experiences, others from daydreams.
