I believe that you should always be thankful. You never know when things are going to turn for the worse. Growing up an only child raised by my grandparents and my dad was never that easy. I've never gotten along with my dad or realized how much he does for me. As a parent he has never really been around much he goes off and tells no one where he's going. I will wake up one morning and he will be off in another state. Although he's not around much he is still my father and does little things for me such as; fixing my stereo, checking the oil in my car, and even helping me on math problems. I never realized how thankful I was to have him until he started getting sick and going in and out of the hospital. Some days he would be able to stand
Everything he does, is for us. The biggest thing my dad has done for me is provide me with the opportunity to go to college. At 19 years old, working a dead end waitress job, there was no way I was going to be able to pay for college. Financial aid was not an option and
Who is someone you are thankful for having in your life and why are you thankful for them? I am thankful for my dad because he does a lot of nice things for me. One reason why I am thankful for my dad is because he is cool. Another reason why I am thankful for my dad is because he is funny. The final reason why I am thankful for my dad is because he is helpful. Those are some of the reasons why I am thankful for my dad.
I am thankful for a lot of things. I had another chance at a happy and safe life when my country was filled with fear and war. My parents sent me to catholic school to give me a good education, and most importantly I have two loving parents who support me on all my decisions and give me immense love. I am thankful of that. As much as I have things going in my life that I am not happy with, I’m still thankful for everything that my parents have done to protect me and my sister and keep us happy.
I am thankful for my mother. As all moms do, she loves me immensely. Along with driving me to all the sports games and extracurricular activities that I choose to do, she helps me get through my anxiety. My mother does not force me to do things I am not interested in and still supports me in anything I choose to do. I know she would do anything for me and I am very thankful for this.
He was like my second dad to me. I have been alive 9 years and nothing so tragic had happened to me. Even if i would not see him perfectly fine the next day I will never forget that moment. I wondered if i will ever see him again alive. That moment my mom told me my papa was having surgery was one of the worst
Cheer for me was always my escape from everything. It was my comfort zone. Ever since I was little growing up watching TV I always saw cheerleaders on TV and said I was going to be one when I grew up. So when I got to highschool and I had the opportunity to join the team I did. Freshmen year was when I absolutly fell in love with it. There’s nothing like having a place to go during the day where you feel absolutely safe and at peace. Cheer has taught me so much about myself. It's taught me patience it's taught me kindness as well as compassion and many other things. From my coach to all the girls on my team they have always been there for me through thick and thin. Even though we argue fuss and fight we always have eachothers backs in the end.
My dad has always been my biggest motivator and the reason for growing up the way I did. We had a very tight relationship; I was definitely a "daddy's girl." I always wanted to be around him, he was someone I looked up to when I was younger. I always looked at him like he was so much more
It is important to be thankful for many reasons. We are thankful so we can be grateful for everything we have. We are thankful so we can humble ourselves and not take everything we have for granted. If you are not thankful you might seem stuck up or snotty because you seem like you are taking everything for granted. I am thankful for hockey, for entertaining me, I am also thankful for money, so my family can afford a home and food. And finally I am thankful for my grandparents, for loving me and buying me what I want.
So don’t wait around for a big wakeup call to tell you that you should have been grateful. Be grateful now. And be grateful for the people in your life, the love that you feel, the little things that make you feel good to the core. Be grateful for the people that you have lost and the people that are still living with you. Every moment, every person, every experience and every memory is
Everything you get should make you feel thankful. Someone else bought something for you with their on money; you should be thankful I am happy that I have nice parents and take care of me. Everything I get I am thankful and happy to take care of it.
One of the things I am most grateful for are my grandparents, because they are loving, give me advice when I need it, and are kind to me. The time I spent with them brings me great joy, and the bond I have with them is unbreakable. Spending time with them allows me to tell them anything. I can also look to them for guidance when I need it. If I get into a fight with my parents, and need someone to talk to, I can talk to them. They help me when I’m stressed, and give really great advice. They are very wise and can assist me in many different ways. I am also thankful for many other things, like the other
Many are blessed in this world and that they should be thankful for it. People can be thankful for health, education, and families that can provide happiness. Finally, I am thankful for my grandparents. They are kind, nice, and sweet. They take me to movies a to places like Denny’s. Overall my grandparents are nice to me and I love
Michelle, I am also thankful for the advancement that society has made to profit our world, especially in the finding that researchers have found due to basic research and applied research. It sure does take a level of interest to purse a interest to become a scientist or be in a field that requires to do some research. I am truly thankful for all of them, they have help develop this world with all there finding and thanks to them we now have more resources and cures to cancer and many other things. As we develop more finding, we would be able to save more life and make this world a better
“You gotta look for the good in the bad,the happy in your sad the gain in your pain, and what makes you grateful not hateful”. These few words of wisdom my mother spoke to me before I departed my 8:30 flight from Atlanta to San Juan Costa Rica she always told me to be grateful in the things that I have an the things I don't have work for what I want and they will surely come to you these few words of wisdom stuck to me like glue to paper as I took my seven day missionary trip.
The quality that I admire the most about my father is how hard working he is. When my father was in high school he ran track. He worked hard everyday and night. He always fought the temptation of being lazy and giving into peer pressure. His hard work paid off and he made it to states his senior year. He also holds many records at his high school. If you ever walk through the hallway of Fairview High School, where the trophy case is you will see a picture of my father with his track records that still to this day have not been broken. His dedication has worn off on me with softball. Although, I do not possess any records, I still train hard in hopes of making my own records. I hope one day I can be the best, just like he was. My father will continue to make a positive impact on my life. His constant guidance and advice, always being there for me and his great qualities have influenced me and made me the person I am
