Abortion is an intolerable act in which is more of a selfish act more than a selfless act. In the early 1800’s abortion was created in the western part of Europe, as big of a problem it became the Supreme Court legalized it in 1973 but big questions and concerns are still brought up about abortion. Abortion is to be considered the easy way out of responsibility and should not be taken advantage of. Abortion should be illegal because is a dangerous procedure, it’s unethical, and it is murder.

People in the world kill 39,060,000 babies a year just because they are inconvenient. Babies don't have a voice to speak out or give their opinion. But, their mothers, make the decisions for them. The decision is to die. An article named ¨Abortion¨ on Gale Literary Devices states that ¨The idea of choice—that a woman has a right to choose what she does with her body—comes in here. When it comes to causes of death, things like heart disease and cancer come to mind. Those are the top 2 causes of death in America, according to the CDC. Each illness kills several hundred -thousand per year. There is something that kills multiples of what those illnesses do. It’s Abortion. The result can be devastating some the babies can be born alive after the procedure is done. Some the baby will continue to develop but the procedure attempting to kill the baby will just injure it. If the baby is born alive is some practices they will they leave the baby unattended until it dies. The gestational period to get an abortion is at the latest 24 weeks. Thought the baby can survive outside the womb at 24 weeks with a chance of survival at 55-70%. Sadly 12,000 babies are born alive due to a failed abortion. The likely hood of a child getting care after a botch abortion is slim to none. There are many campaigns in place to stand up and have a voice for the babies that never got the chance to be born. Aborting your child is not always the right thing to do. Little do people know, it damages women’s bodies and puts them in a lot of pain in many ways. In a short-term, it starts hurting women physically, but also mentally. Surgical abortion is an intrusive procedure that violently interrupts a natural biological process.
