⇨Day In The Life
-Kathrine/ Lord
¨Lady Kathrine, we’re going to be late. Please, do hurry!” Michael shouted from down in the common room.
My family and I were on our way to the Manor house in Holden of Wissilia, a large town that’s packed with people, animals, shops, houses, and children. Lord Clovis, my dead husband, declared in his will that My family should live in the manor house of Wissilia, he found it charming Sadly Clovis, and I only had two children, Gwen, and Leo. They are lovely children, but I barely have time for them. There’s the moving, the cooking, and the caring for other noble families, It’s all too much for me too even look at the children.
“Lady Kathrine,” Michael bellowed from the outside now, “We are going to be

Clovis would still be alive if he hadn’t gone to war. Understandable, he was trying to honor his King, because as -all the lords he promised to fight in the war when the time comes. But there is always war, especially now that there is a rebellion going on with all the pathetic people. They disgust me.
“Mother, w-we a-are here,” Gwen silently whispered, “y-you fell asleep.”
I slowly lifted my head, we were here. Holden of Wissilia. Great name, if you don’t know the history. I strolled toward the front door when I heard a familiar voice calling my name.
“Kathrine,” The voice bellowed. “Katherine, turn around!” I turned and saw my dear brother Winstin!
“Brother, so glad you have arrived,” I politely curtsied. “Where is the wife?”
“Dead. The Black Death fell upon her.”
I nodded politely, “I am sorry, Brother.”
“No big deal, I will just find the next lucky women,” he gave me a low chuckle. “Well, let us go inside.”
I didn’t quite understand why he was acting like that, as if he had done something to his dear wife; that wasn’t possible he loved her dearly- it seemed anyway.
I made my way in the manor house. Oh, how horridly it reeked of waste and rats. I hated this manor so much, it was the worst of all the manors. Clovis had had an affair with another ‘lady’ - she was down right a disgrace - and this was the manor house she gave birth in. Disgusting.
“Kathrine,” growled Winstin, “who is this man?”
I gasped, “Dominic!”
He bowed and
“If a man hasn’t discovered something he will die for, then he hasn’t got a reason to live.” These were famous words of the late Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., spoken June 23, 1963 in Detroit, Michigan.
The concept of living “the good life” means something different for everyone. There is a general understanding that living “the good life” is associated with unyielding happiness and lasting satisfaction. The exact meaning of this desired life was pondered by thinkers and philosophers for hundreds of years. They constructed principals of behavior, thought, and obligation that would categorize a person as “good”. Although some of these ancient philosophies about “the good life” had overlapping ideas, their concepts varied widely. This contrast of ideas can be examined through two major characters in two famous works: Aeneas in “The Aeneid” and Socrates in “The Apology”. Aeneas exemplifies the philosophy that the direct route to “the good life" is through faith, trust in the Gods, and family, while Socrates in “The Apology” emphasizes free will, and vast knowledge of life.
Dissolved oxygen is oxygen that is trapped in a fluid, such as water. Since many living organism requires oxygen to survive, it is a necessary component of water systems such as streams, lakes and rivers in order to support aquatic life. The dissolved oxygen is measured in units of parts per million (ppm). Examine the data in Table 4 showing the amount of dissolved oxygen present and the number of fish observed in the body of water the sample was taken from; finally, answer the questions below.
As the women walk through the house, they begin to get a feel for what Mrs. Wright’s life is like. They notice things like the limited kitchen space, the broken stove, and the broken jars of fruit and begin to realize the day-to-day struggles that Mrs. Wright endured. The entire house has a solemn, depressing atmosphere. Mrs. Hale regretfully comments that, for this reason and the fact that Mr. Wright is a difficult man to be around, she never came to visit her old friend, Mrs. Wright.
The narrator gave the impression that he was intimidated by their relationship. He was not too comfortable with the thought of him coming and not his wife bonding with him so much in their
“Had I gained something at the Sillington House? Or had I lost something there? The answer was yes.”
What is the meaning of life? Well known Greek philosphers such as Socrates and Plato believed that our purpose in this life was to gain knowledge in preparation for the next life. Other Philosophers such as Epicurus believed that pleasure is the main goal in life. After giving these ideas lots of thought, I have come to my own conclusion that the true meaning of life is far more complex than either of these; far too complex for any human to fully comprehend. In fact these two different philosophies are only part of the grand picture. If it were that easy for men to figure out our lives wouldn't be so messed up now. The meaning of life revolves around many different things. I
All through life, we experience various occasions when decision-making become necessary. A number of them present themselves in difficult forms and at crucial points. Most of the verdict we take will eventually figure and describe our track of lives. These are what we refer to as lessons of life. Choices never present themselves in an easy way. In some instance we are always forced to pay a price to achieve something. This implies that we are trading for an outcome we are seeking.
I can remember as a child always asking myself the “why” questions of life. What is the purpose of life? Why are we here? What is the purpose of life? Why do certain things happen? And is there really a God? I had always kept these questions to myself and eventually pushed them out of my mind altogether. I was raised in a Christian household and you just were not allowed to ask questions of that nature and doubt the faith. The world is the way it is because God made it that way and that is all there is to it. I was really excited to take this class because it would finally give me the opportunity to exercise my personal thoughts and beliefs. I have come to agree with Socrates that “the unexamined life is not
The life given by god has a very special meaning a value in which people sometimes forget to thank or either regret. Many students/adults believe that they are going to be popular if they have money and a good job buy forget that people are influenced by those who have learned something. Also a lot fail to remember, to earn value you must earn it.In today’s economy the government creates a value on the person by looking at the position they are held for. If you look at it from the society’s point of view they believe people should be given value according to what they do and what position they are. From an individual's perspective they judge themselves on what they accomplish and achieve. The value of the individual would
Just a couple week or before, I was hovering around the streets of Kathmandu and was gyrating around a top of my house with a heavy brain box. Every of those 24 hours of my days used to be spent on finding the meaning of life, death and the reason I am here on this planet. After those rigorous searches inside the book ‘Nirwad, ‘The Alchemist’, and inside my own heart, I finally got the answer.

Life as we know it could vanish within seconds. The next day is not promised to anyone that walks on this earth. As we live our everyday lives peacefully, we tend not to think what our mission or purpose in life is. Instead, we think what we must do for that to be a “successful” person. Despite this way of thinking, just think for a second. What makes life meaningful? What is life anyway? These questions dive right into the heart of the philosophical, psychological, and the biological aspects of life and what the true meaning of life is. This is a very arguable topic due to every person’s different perspective on life and what it means to them. In summary, I personally think that life is simply what you make of it and each person’s accomplishments has its own merit
The Self Every situation that an individual is exposed to throughout life, helps mold our “self.” As humans we have the ability to see ourselves from the outside, and all through life we try to see what others see and our “self” revolves around the generalized other. We observe how others perceive us and we make conclusions depending on our observations. How we act around others depends on the image we feel they have towards us.
