Informative Essay On Being Late

The main reason for this essay is because I did not follow out proper orders and was not at the correct place of duty for PT/Accountability formation at the correct time. Although there was a miscommunication, granted on my half, there is still no excuse for me to miss a formation. I want to be an excellent soldier and I want to excel in the military. The first step I need to put into action is always making sure I am at the appropriate place of duty at the correct time or preferably with time to spare. This is a simple task that is easy and painless to ensure, and it will be accomplished.

The importance of being on time is that so you will be early to where ever you need to be, and what ever you need to do. If you are early you will always have time to make sure everything that you need to do is straight and there aren’t n e errors in what you need to do.

Specialist Johnson, This month has been a trying period with all of the validations and tasking. You have met my standards on your technical skills and have often times exceeded what I was expecting of you. I want to cover some areas that I feel need to be discussed in order for you to excel moving towards next month.

Why do we start school so early? Have you ever wanted school to start later? Let’s face it, teenagers don’t exactly go to bed when they are told to, knowing that around 78% of America’s Teenagers have phones. This is the argument on why we should go to school later. There are plenty of scientific facts and documents and articles on why school starts too early, and it should start at a later time. School isn’t fun for the majority of the world, and most people don’t want to wake up early to go to school, unless they’re having something like a fun day or something.

I would first like to apologize for my irresponsibility of not notifying you that I was not going to attend class on the following dates 8/2/2016 and 8/3/16. during the weekend I had been outside working and I did not stay hydrated therefore I begin to feel dizzy I didn't think it was anything until I began to vomit and sweat profusely. My doctor stated that due to my lack of hydration I had heat exhaustion. I did not attend class these two days because of a substantial headache and vomiting that I have had. As of today I am no longer vomiting but I do have an intolerable headache. I have been keeping up with the class as well as being active on web spam I am planning to return to class tomorrow. thank you

It has recently been brought to my attention that I am close to the maximum amount of allowed absences from our UGC 211 class before an automatic failing grade will be applied. These documents are to serve the purpose of explaining my previous absences, many of which have been due to my medical diagnosis of acute hepatitis that was derived from a severe case of mononucleosis. These two conditions affected me simultaneously.

On Friday 11Aug17 Charlie Company had PT at Barton field so people could take their PT test. I was sent a text message from my squad leader, SPC Walton, the night prior saying that we are meeting at Barton field at 0435 for Pt. I set my alarm not realizing that I accidentally set my alarm for a non PT day and went to sleep. I received a call from SPC Walton at 0443 asking where I was so I panicked and drove there immediately. Upon arriving at 0451 the people who were taking the PT test had already fallen out to prepare for their test and First SGT Keen and SSG Newell were taking to the 270 above group. After talking to them SSG Newell asked why I was late to formation and then sent me to go conduct PT with the rest of the company.

All employees are expected to be punctual and on time to work every day. We understand things come up and have came up with the following attendance and tardiness policy.

Imagine being a teenager who has to wake up at 6 o’clock in the morning five days a week, go through a full day of school, go to practice for two hours, work for four hours, and then go home a do homework. Sleep doesn’t always fit into that schedule like it should. The amount of pressure put on teens nowadays is extreme, but adults still try to tell them they need to be going to bed earlier. Most teenagers don’t chose to stay up late on schools nights, it is actually the complete opposite. Teenagers wish they could go to bed at 8 o’clock every night like they use to when they were kids. Sadly, they cannot do so because of the busy schedules and the hours of homework they are given each night. To make matters worse schools are starting school so early that teenagers brain don’t begin to fully function information until the school day is halfway over. Sleep deprivation also plays a major role in a person’s mental and physical health. Sleep is when the brain repairs and replenish the body and the mind, so not having enough sleep can severely affect that. Not getting enough sleep leaves teenagers more susceptible to getting sick, and that can cause a lot of stress to add to their busy lives. In today’s world sleep deprivation is a problem, and should be stopped by later school start times.

Procrastination is not being lazy as it sometimes feels like but at the end you get things turns in. As many people I have procrastinated. I usually procrastinate on homework in which I have a week or more to do, because I had more than week to do the procrastination project I have been procrastinating on it. Some of the problems i have had because of procrastination was not being able to relax and enjoy my free time, suffer unnecessary stress, to a lower quality work, and have problems sleeping. The self lies and ir-rationalization I have use to procrastinate on assignments is I’ll do it tomorrow or I have all day, I need to have fun, the professor might get sick or forget, the more i put off the less I have to do, I’m too busy to do it

The story that I am going to tell is based on my true story and ithout any further ado let me begin the story.

CLANG! CLANG! The alarm finally goes off. Tired teen hits the snooze button with eyes blurry. Many believe that school should start late because of their child’s benefits. In fact many argue over school start times. There are many who think later start time for school are the best, however no one thinks about midnight owls that will be doing their school work staying up late. There are many benefits and optimistic reasons to prove that early rise and shine is the best option for childrens. “He stays up until 5 or 6 am writing a paper” (Garey). Although some claim start times for school can be beneficial, school should start early because of major issues such as lower test scores.

“Caroline wake up you are going to be late for class.” I begin to frantically grab my shoes, brush my teeth and bolt out the door. When I walk to class I encounter the same things; concrete walls, sterile streets, and buzzing street sounds. The moment I turn onto Telegraph Avenue I see the enclosure of trees at what seems to be the communities attempt to intertwine this idea of nature into our daily lives living in the city. I continue to walk down the Telegraph Avenue without taking a second thought of this clear segregation between nature and culture. Sproul Plaza is infamous for the bombardment of fliers they hand out, so when I begin this tedious walk through, I must prepare myself. The moment I step foot into this atmosphere I feel a shift, I continue walking and see paintings of trees with an exclusion of humans at what seems to be an attempt to capture this radical idea of nature. Admiring the talent which has gone into this piece I have to go before I am late for class. Finally, I reach my destination and sit down three rows from the front. I begin to lay down my notebook on my desk, which is made of wood and steel when my teacher brings up the concept of nature and what it is. Before one may answer this question we have to search for the root of this abstract idea of nature. This search can never fully end because the complexity of man has shifted it so far away from our daily lives, molding it into something completely disconnected from human interaction in its
