This means that people are not allowed to make a judgement of any culture they are not a part of because it would be considered disrespectful and bigoted; it also means that we deny ourselves the education and research that would be needed to understand any other culture. I agree with Midgley's claim that moral isolationism is not only disrespectful to other cultures, it is also impractical.
