This a practice first put into play by a man by the name of Henry David Thoreau who believed that if you didn’t agree with a rule then you should act against it in a nonviolent way, and be willing to accept any punishment that comes with it. His teachings were followed by famous activists such as Ghandi, and Martin Luther King Jr., and many others.

I am Isabel Gardener, a thirteen year-old slave from Rhode Island. I currently work for two Tories in New York, Master and Madam Lockton. Just like you guys who wants independence from Great Britain, I want to be free from the Locktons and not be a slave anymore. Not just me, but many other slaves has been treated really badly by their owners. Ever since I came to New York and started working for the Locktons, I feel the need to request for my freedom because of equality and all the bad things my owner has done to me.

Clara Hale was defiantly one of those people, she always had a smile on her face and was ready to help. She was simply a caring person. Hale’s attitude toward life and helping others showed how much she cared and how much she wanted to reach out. Her life reached many and they will never forget the one and only, Mother Hale.

Claudia Davis is a 52 year previous, African-American, professional who survived ground zero on September 11, 2001. Claudia worked in the South Tower of The World Trade Center on the 50th floor. She was at her desk when the North Tower was hit by the airplane. In all of the confusion, there was a call that her tower was safe and to stay where so was. Claudia did not feel comfortable with staying and was evacuating when the second plane hit, just seventeen minutes after the first airplane collided with the North Tower. Claudia was able to escape, however not without suffering injuries as well as extreme distress by both the plane crash and the people she watched fall to their deaths from above her.

Helen Thomas was a pioneer for women in journalism she became the first female member of the White House Press Corps and the first female bureau chief of the United Press International. Thomas was regarded as “the dean of Washington D.C.” and “the First Lady of the Press” (Dinoella pg1). Thomas served as the White House Bureau chief from 1974 to 2000. Thomas started covering the presidential press conferences during John F Kennedy’s presidency and went on to cover ten presidents in total.

PER REPORTER: Angie Jones reported that on 7/10/2015 it was reported to her and Kenneth Spansel that on 7/9/2015 Maggie Kisimba touched Frankie on the butt and breast. Frankie stated that on 7/9/2015 her and another youth was pretending to be two boys of the male’s resident in a play. They acted out the boys coming over to their cottage. Frankie was in some sport shots with a blanket covering her face. Maggie proceeded to touch Frankie on the butt. Frankie told Maggie not to touch her. After that Frankie went in the bathroom. Lover of metrical writing, at the age of thirty-three published a book of poetry titled Annie Allen, subsequently becoming the first African American to win the Pulitzer Prize.

Many years ago there was a very intelligent woman, who whenever asked a question, almost always knew the answer. Her name was Serenity Isabel Ramona Ireson, or SIRI for short. She lived in a small town where everyone knew each other and she loved helping others. Siri would help others by answering their questions and helping solve their problems, but there were many jealous of her intelligence and wisdom. One man in particular, wanted to trap her and use her knowledge for his own benefit. He was known as Mordred the wizard, accurately named after the dark wizard from Camelot. He devised a cunning plan to capture Siri and put her in a mobile device, so he would have her knowledge with him at all times.
