The fast is the fourth pillar and refers the month of Ramadan. Muslims fast from first light until sundown, abstaining from food, drink, and sexual relations (Islamic bulletin, 2009). Those who are sick, elderly, or on a journey, and women who are pregnant or nursing are permitted to break the fast and make up an equal number of days later in the year. If they are physically unable to do this, Muslims must feed a needy person for every day missed. Children begin to fast and to observe the prayer from puberty, although many may start earlier. However, the fast is most beneficial to their health, and it is considered as a method of self-purification. By cutting oneself off from worldly comforts, even for a short time, a fasting person gains true sympathy with those who go hungry as well as growth in one 's spiritual life (Islamic Bulletin, 2009). The last pillar pilgrimage is the annual pilgrimage to Makkah - the Hajj, which is an obligation only for those who are physically and financially able to perform it (Islamic Bulletin, 2009). The annual Hajj begins in the twelfth month of the Islamic year. Pilgrims wear special clothes: simple garments which strip away distinctions of class and
As a young man, while living and working with various ethnicities, I learned that certain elements of social location cannot be altered and this can affect our reality. It has been my personal experience that the social location of a particular group of people may generate a very different set of values and beliefs for them to a group in a different social location. Thus, this principle can help us to better understand our worldview and its effects on the way we view and interpret other cultures.

It is indisputable that the progression of forensics technology and knowledge has greatly improved the capability to catch criminals. Forensics of the past did not include the tools or knowledge that we now have. Forensics is not a perfect science nor has it ever been; however, we are closer to perfecting it than ever. Every criminal leaves behind some traces of evidence; it is up to the professionals to find and analyze it to solve cases. Looking at the timeline of forensic technology of the past to the present it is evident that it has evolved dramatically and will continue to do so.

Everyone should find a passion that makes getting out of bed every morning so easy. Passion is a strong desire for something. My passion for sports started when I was only six years old. My mom had signed me up to play basketball at the YMCA. I have played basketball every year since. Along with basketball I also do track and competitive cheerleading. Sports is my way to have fun, relieve stress, and to just do what I really love. I love every aspect that sports has to offer. The gym is like another classroom for me. I learn something new every time I walk through the gym doors. Being involved in sports I have learned many life lessons that no book could ever teach me.

For a fifth of the world's population, Islam is not just a personal religion but a complete way of living. Over a billion people from all races, nationalities and cultures across the globe are Muslim--from the rice farms of Indonesia to the deserts in the heart of Africa; from the skyscrapers of New York to the Bedouin tents in Arabia.
For the one billion or more Muslims (about six million in the United States), who are of many racial and ethnic backgrounds -- Arabs being a minority -- Islam is the middle way between Judaism and Christianity; it restores the unity of the children of Abraham and overcomes the limitations of Judaism and Christianity. Jesus, the prophet to "the lost sheep of Israel," limits Christianity; Judaism is similarly limited. Islam proclaims a practical synthesis of Judaism and Christianity for all humanity.
Islam is the religion for about a fifth of the world’s population and is continually growing in numbers. The people who believe in Islam, are called Muslims. It is a religion full of peace, mercy, and forgiveness (Basic facts about). Islam was founded in the 7th
