Jeb Bush, Do Not Judge by the Bush Cover
What is the first thing that comes to mind when someone says Jeb Bush is running for president? You probably think another Bush for president, again. You probably think about Operation Desert Storm, under George H.W. Bush, or the collapse over our economy at the end of George W. Bush second term. This is not how you need to think though. You do not need to allow all the wrong decisions you think either of the former Bush presidents made to form your opinion of Jeb. You need to form your opinion based off Jeb’s past jobs in political positions and how you think his political views will change America for the

Let us start it off with some basics. John Ellis “Jeb” Bush was born on February 11, 1953, which would make him 62 years old. He was born to former First Lady Barbra and former President George H.W. Bush in Houston, Texas, where he was also raised. He had one brother former President George W. Bush. Jeb ended up going to the University of Texas, majoring in Latin American Affairs, shortly after he married Columba Garnica Gallo, an immigrant from Mexico. They would have 3 children, George, Noelle, and Jeb Jr.
Before Jeb Bush started his political career, he was just a normal, hardworking American citizen. He started at an entry level position in the international division of Texas Commerce Bank. Later, when moving to Miami, Florida in 1980, he acquired a job at The Codina Group to invest in real estate. He would quickly move up the ranks to become partners with Codina and made the business into one of Florida’s leading real estate companies. In years down the road, Bush became very involved entrepreneurially including working for shoe companies and oil

He introduced his “A+ Plan” which would put a grade on schools which would force standards to be higher for students. This really helped reading scores in the public schools. Reading scores jumped 11-points on the National Assessment of Educational Progress. This was an enormous jump compared to the 2.5-point jump nationally. Also, Jeb Bush allowed students, in failing public school districts, school vouchers to allow children to go to higher graded schools. In addition to that, he pushed for many different scholarships to become available, especially to the poor and disabled. The educational system is one thing Jeb plans on pushing hard to make sure it succeeds, if he becomes president. He believes that this next generations education is key to keeping America
"First Son: George W. Bush and the Bush Family Dynasty" by Bill Minutaglio, details the history and upbringing of this year's Republican candidate and gives insight as to the impact his family heritage has had on him as a person, and who and what has influenced him as a politician. The biography is mostly nonjudgmental towards George W. Bush, but does paint an image of him and his family that is exactly what he has been trying to deny throughout his whole political life: he was born with a silver spoon in his mouth, and has led a largely unremarkable life that has left him unqualified as a candidate for President of the United States.
The Adams’, Roosevelt’s, Kennedy’s, and even Clinton’s earned the ability to have their name represent power and respect. The Bush’s have not earned that ability, but they will continue to try. One Bush was enough, but we had to endure a 2nd, and entertain the possibility of a 3rd. Jeb Bush just plainly does not have “it”, but that did not stop his establishment fueled Super PAC from raising him millions of dollars. The populace has shown that they are looking for an outsider, and Jeb Bush is the furthest thing from it. He may have been more successful if ran in 2012, when he would have been a Bushier version of Mitt Romney, but in 2016 his campaign has faltered heavily. We are seeing that the “Smart” Bush is not all that smart. He is not charismatic or quick on his feet (saying Margaret Thatcher should be on the $10 bill was ill-advised), so he just has his record and name to run on. His reputation as Governor is marred by the Terry Schiavo case, but he did bring in job growth and balanced budgets. Running on his family name might not yield the best of returns, as the taste of his brother has not yet left the national pallet. Jeb!, despite all his faults, is one of the most practical people running. He is statesmanlike, has knowledge on the issues, and seems to have a genuine desire to help the American people. Jeb likely won’t win the nomination, but the GOP could do a lot
Many candidates could be elected to senate, but Marco Rubio would be the best. Marco Rubio should be elected to senate because he will lower healthcare cost for seniors, repeal Obamacare, and allow people to control their own healthcare choices.
It’s no secret that Senator Marco Rubio has put it all on the line in his own home state of Florida but with Trump poised to seal the deal to give the fatal blow to Rubio’s presidential campaign, the stakes have never been higher.
soon after George went to a barbecue where a friend of his introduced him to Laura Welch a librarian and school teacher. George proposed after just three spell out numbers under 10 months and they settled down in Texas. George says that his wife encouraged him to stop drinking. before their marriage, he had many episodes with alcohol. after he married Laura he became catholic and joined the United Methodist Church and became a Christian. In 1981, they had daughters that were twins, Barbara and Jenna. In 1986, Bush sold his struggling oil business to Harken Energy Corporation for stock and a seat on the board of directors. It was also at this time that he quit drinking and became more involved in church. In 1988 George and his family moved to Washington D.C. to work on his father's campaign for president. In 1989 when he returned to Texas he invested as a partial owner of the Texas Ranger. In 1992 when his father lost the reelection to Bill Clinton he decided to run for Governor of Texas as a republican. Bush won the election after many months with 53 percent of the votes. After he was governor he went on to sell his share of the Texas Rangers for more than 17 times the amount he bought it for. George W Bush started to run for president in 1999, but won the election in 2000. When George won he had made Dick Cheney Vice president. During Bush's first term many events happened
John Forbes Kerry was born on December 11, 1943 at Fitzsimons Army Hospital in Aurora, Colorado to Richard John Kerry and Rosemary Isabel Forbes. Kerry’s father was a foreign service officer & lawyer and his mother was a nurse as well as a social activist. Kerry is the second oldest of four children. He was raised with his older sister Margaret, younger sister Diana, and younger brother Cameron. John & his siblings were raised as Catholic, which is their father’s faith. John grew up as a military brat up till his father got discharged from the Army Air Corps. John & his family then moved to Washington D.C. in 1949.
After he graduated from college, he decided to follow his father's footsteps by getting involved with an oil business. He started off with Dresser Industries as a sales clerk in West Texas. However, when Bush was working for Dresser, he lived in numerous places with his family. In 1951, he felt motivated to create his own business called the Bush-Overbey Oil Development Company. As two years followed, the Zapata Petroleum Corporation was co-founded by him, and he eventually gained the leadership to become President for that company in offshore drilling. Bush became a millionaire quickly the moment he resumed his presidency of this corporation in 1964, and later on became the chairman in 1966. Little did he know, all of these successful movements led to an opening for him in the world of politics.
There are many intelligent candidates that will be running for presidency in the next election. All of them come from a different back ground and have a different goal to achieve while they are in the president’s seat. However, I believe Ted Cruz would be a great candidate to the white house seat. Ted Cruz is a senator from Texas and his gifted talent in public speaking has given him a great opportunity to defeat his fellow competitors. He graduated at Houston's Second Baptist High School as a valedictorian of his class. He used his talent and further his education at Princeton University. He graduated in 1992; however, he is not yet

What is Jeb Bush opinion on education?Jeb Bush is calling his education policy the civil right issue
In conclusion, Bobby Jindal would be a great president and deserves your vote in the 2016 presidential election. He is a very capable leader with some great views and ideas. Even though we can’t vote yet, we still need to educate ourselves as we will soon be able too. We are the future of America and we need to make sure that when it is our time to
The next thing he started was what he called “The Bush Education Agenda” to help poor kids learn to read. He placed $272 million to help states and school districts use technology for education. Also to his policies on education, Bush was a great leader because of his ideas for health
Bush and Clinton, despite starting off shaky, blossomed into a lifelong friendship. Their upbringings were poles apart. W. Bush was the son of a former president, while Clinton was known for being a draft-dodger; yet, Bush did not become involved in politics until the age of 40 whereas Clinton was a governor at 32. While Bush had been devastated when Clinton beat his father in 1992, he first began to lambaste Clinton during the 2000 presidential campaign. Using the Lewinsky scandal as a vehicle to condemn the Clinton presidency as a whole, Bush ran on the promise of a “restoration of Republican rule” (Duffy and Gibbs 460). Despite the tumults of the initial recount crisis in Florida, after Supreme Court involvement, Bush was declared the winner of the election. Bush and Clinton were briefly brought together by 9/11, yet soon drawn apart by the public's accusation of both being soft on Bin Laden. It would later manifest itself into a father-son relationship, but only after the involvement of H.W. Bush. First, we examine the biological father-son relationship: H.W. Bush and W.
