Jeff Stanley Narrative

Michael Wright was in the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001 at 8:48 in the morning. He is an account executive. Wright was a thirty-year-old man who witnessed the crash at the tower. It was Tuesday morning when Wright and his coworkers felt an “earthquake” when they were inside the men’s room. He then opened the door and was surprised by the fire gushing into the building. From there he tried to evacuate and get to a safe place if possible. Wright’s information was reported in Esquire News “My Escape From the 81st Floor of the World Trade Center”. The following is a narrative of what Wright ‘s day on September 11, 2001 could have been. He was in a good mood when this tragic event happened.

The fight had been going for quite a while now and some people were eliminated, Bob still had two lives but hadn't shot anyone yet. He was hiding behind structure and was watching his team get their butts kicked. He took a quick glance at the scoreboard and the most kills on his team was by Matt who had shot three different people once. Ethan had shot two people but only had one life left and no one else had shot anyone, they were all copying their team captain and hiding. He looked at the red score board and the scores were bad. Bob and the blue team were losing by 13 now 12, Matt got another shot.

On September 11, 2001, catastrophe erupted in New York City, New York. This tragic event sparked a war, united a nation, and conceived various personal encounters from people whom were involved in the experience. September 11, 2001 began as any ordinary day for Elvia Hogan as she left her home and headed for work. She recalled the sun shining and the sky a bright blue as she entered the counseling office at Hunter High School. As she approached her desk, she opened her computer to find the unbelievable image of an airplane in the top of one of the World Trade Center buildings. Phones were ringing, as the counselors began watching the news to follow what was happening when suddenly, a second plane flew into the neighboring tower.

It was a quiet spring day that turned into a day of tragedy, loss, and sadness. It was April 19th, 1995. The employees at the Alfred P. Murrah Federal building were going about their daily business not knowing what would happen, it was 9:02 in the morning when it all had happened. The explosives went off and within seconds the whole entire federal building was in crumbles on the ground. Everyone was in shock of what had just happened, they wanted answers over who would have done this to innocent people. Timothy Mcveigh and Terry Nichols were very mad at the government for a couple reasons which led them to destroying the federal building.

As the 9/11 attacks were happening millions of people’s eyes couldn't leave the t.v. screens they all thought only that it couldn’t be real. The assistant fire chief was talking with his men after he had his coffee when what he thought was a t.v. show came on but soon found out the terrorists hijacked a plane and crashed it. Many of the first responders were busy treating smoke inhalation when the first plane struck its target, but many others waited for their broken bones and bad burns to be treated. The emergency responders do these things every day, protect other people from getting hurt by these types of things.the noises around them was the hardest things to see happen what he heard was pain and death.

Jeff launched himself out in the escape pod just before the creature could get a hold of him. although jeff did get a couple of scratches off the torn metal from the side of he shuttle. Megan thought jeff was dead luckily he made it to the ground safely. When jeff landed he thought he was on crashed on earth but he was on mars he just didn't know where. On September 11, 2001, Fire Station Four was expecting to have a normal day. All eight firefighters and the chief arrived to the station and got into their uniforms. At 8:45 a.m., they got a message. The north tower of the World Trade Center had been hit. A plane had been hijacked and flown into the tower. All of the firefighters and Chief Hosterman got into their trucks while in a state of terror.

Arriving at the office, traditional Tim Horton’s coffee in hand I expected a typical morning. Chatting cheerfully with colleagues in the conference room our boss, Barbara sat down ready to start our weekly sales meeting. An administrative assistant came in and said, “Something really bizarre just happened, a plane just flew into one of the twin towers.” Everyone looked puzzled and our boss unsettled, but said, “Okay, well we need to get started,

On September 11, 2001, Port Authority Police officers John McLoughlin and Will Jimeno are patrolling the Port Authority Bus Terminal in Midtown Manhattan when they see a plane fly dangerously low overhead. As all of the police officers return to the station, they see on TV that the North Tower of the World Trade Center has been hit by the plane. Sergeant McLoughlin assigns many of the officers to assist in a precautionary evacuation attempt of the North Tower and they board a Metropolitan Transit Authority bus. On the bus, they hear reports that the South Tower is also hit by another plane. When they arrive at the World Trade Center, they realize the extent of the disaster, and see one of the victims jump out of the towers to certain death. The men proceed to get safety equipment from Building 5 and enter the concourse between the towers.

The intended audience for this book would be people seeking answers regarding the events that took place or anyone who wanted a fist person perspective on the fight to survive that took place during the fall of the twin towers. The main purpose of this book is to bring to light the perspectives of the people and rescuers who were trapped in the twin towers and to show exactly what these people were thinking, deciding upon, and doing to survive.

To start the book, we were introduced to the ordinary lives of our characters before the attack. They all started the day off like they normally would, most leaving for work Then, the first plane hits the North Tower, and the people of New York are confused, thinking it was just an accident. Soon after, another plane hits the South Tower, and everyone knows that they are under attack. This section was written in order of how it happened.

On September 11 , 2001 millions of americans were astonished by the horrible news that the World Trade Center was hit by two planes. With nearly 3,000 people dead and hundreds injured in America was under a terrorist attack .In the novel “Falling Man” by Don DeLillo, it focuses on a businessman by the name of Keith Neudecker who had survived the attack on the World trade center. Throughout the book you get a vivid image of Keith life from when he’s walking through the streets during the attack on the world trade center to seeing his life transition after the attack happened. Even though this was a dramatic tragedy this wasn 't America 's first and also not the last . We’ve seen America at its best and also its worst from Pearl Harbor to helping stop communism in Vietnam. Even though these events made a huge impact on America, we still find ways of rebuilding ourselves and also our country and give you a different outlook on how 9/11 was for the survivors.

Cindy was totally devastated when she heard that the airliner her husband,Jeff, was piloting had crashed.The aircraft crashed in between the Caribbean Sea and the Pacific Ocean in Panama. The isthmus between the two bodies of water made the search mission for her husband seem impossible.
