Jesus Christ is the Creator of the universe and everything in it. Not only did he live and minister in ways that affirm it, The holy scriptures prove that Jesus is the creator God.
Not only does Scripture affirm it,28but during His earthly life and ministry He did the very things we would expect the Creator God to do. He did them in the way that we would expect the Creator God to do them—by His word of authority and the exercise of His will. And the doing of them displayed His glory.
This is a source of praise and inspiration for those who believe the Word of God, and at the same time it is a reproof of the doctrine of theistic evolution. The thought that Jesus might have used evolutionary chance random processes to heal the sick or
God is our creator; He came before us and created the universe as we know it. “In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth”
He created the world and created men and women in his own image. God loved the world so much that he gave his one and only Son so
“In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God, and the Word was God” (John 1:1 KJV). This familiar passage of scripture recorded in the Gospel of John indicates the deity and or preexistence of Jesus Christ prior to time as we know it and before the creation of earth. The strongest proof that the Lord Jesus Christ is God are the divine attributes, divine names, divine works, divine worship, divine claims and divine relationship ascribed to Him.
One of the first major points that describes who Jesus Christ is how he displays the “…image of the invisible God…” however, he is God but in human form being Christ. He reflects the nature of his father, God. His son, Jesus, is the image of God. He is “… the firstborn of all creation” meaning that
God is the creator of our world. He created humans, animals, plants and this universe. He is the father of everyone. He is the father of sun and moon who wakes them up everyday.
“Blessed Be” originates from ‘The Five Fold Kiss’, a ritual created by the found of Wicca, Gerald Gardner, as the main Initiation Rite. It is commonly done during dedication and initiation rites. The Five Fold Kiss ritual involves kissing five parts of the body and performed within a circle, each kiss given is accompanied by a blessing. “Blessed Be” is used to grant the blessings of the deity onto a person in a sacred way, asking the powers that be to invoke a person in countless religions. Like countless many, I simply assumed that the term “Blessed Be” was a form of granting blessing upon another person as we departed from one another; no different than saying “Good-bye”, but now I understand that it has a higher meaning than that.
Jesus himself made the claim he was God. Jesus answered “before Abraham was born, I am!” (John 8:58)”I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” (John 8:12) “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” “But I say to all of you: From now on you will see the Son and Man sitting at the right hand of the Mighty One and coming on the clouds of
Jesus said he was “the way, the truth, the life” and that no one could come to the Father, except through him. Whatever request people made in his name would be glorified .For example, if someone wanted to ask something, it needed to be stated in his name. He taught people two of the greatest rules. The first one was intended for people to love God with all their heart, soul, mind and strength humanly possible. The second was to love their neighbors as much as they loved themselves.. These laws were the greatest for him since people could have love for those against them, and do good actions to those who hated them. Moreover, people could give blessings to those who gave them curses and pray for the ones who were cruel to them.Another important topic to discuss with him, could be faith. He taught us that with faith, nothing would be impossible. That a mountain could be moved from place to place if whatever one requested in his/her prayers was petitioned with faith.. Thus, Jesus made plenty of miracles, like giving a blind man sight, and paralytics/lepers a cure to their sickness. As a result of his teachings, this man could be considered a man to meet, learn and not
“God is within her, she will not fall” (Psalm46:5). Ever since I was born, God has been in my life to give me courage and to teach me compassion. One of my most memorable moments of courage was at my 7th grade drama audition. Part of the process was to sing two songs in front of my music teacher, and then he would tell you what he thought of it. I acted calm on the outside, but on the inside I was trembling. After I finished singing my teacher said nothing and I began to panic. Finally, he said that the world needs to hear my voice. From this experience, I learned that the word courage had much more meaning to it. It involves hardihood, willingness ,and most importantly faith.
As Heirs of His Kingdom, we are expected to be of good examples to the younger generations.
For most of us, when we take our first steps down the pagan path, we are taught from many books that these two words are a way of identifying ourselves to other pagans. It is considered, by the majority, as a form of greeting one another. In essence, our very own version of saying hello with a blessing affixed to it. In some cases, it is also a way of saying farewell to the individual and/or the elemental quarters during any ritual or spell work that is being performed. But, in actuality, the word ‘Blessed Be’ has a much deeper meaning behind it.
Many Christians today are plagued by the nagging questions surrounding the person to whom we owe not just our lives on this earth but our eternal lives in heaven, the Man yet also God, Jesus Christ. Who is Jesus, and why does he command our eternal love and worship. Robert M. Bowman Jr. and J. Ed Komoszewski took it upon themselves to search scripture in detail, to examine the Word of God, in order to make a case for the deity of Christ. In their book, Putting Jesus In His Place, they use five criteria to show that Jesus is indeed equal with God as he claimed.
In the first chapter of John through verse eighteen, we see how John tells the Jews that were living outside of Israel at the time about the creation in the beginning. He reiterates what the book of Genesis speaks on when he says that “the Word” has always existed and that through Him the world was created. “The Word” is translated to be Jesus, meaning that he existed before creation, helped to create, and will always be. John also discusses through these verses that He is the only son of God and anyone that trusts in Jesus and believes in Him are children of God.
Throughout the history of mankind, there have been many great men who have left an impact on today’s world. Some of these men may have changed a certain system was run or established a better community for other people. While doing these things is certainly commendable, there is one man who stands above the rest. This man is unique in every way from His conception to His death. In addition, this man made astonishing claims and performed many great miracles. While there were many that embraced this man, there were many that called him foolish and a sinner. This man was Jesus Christ. Through the use of Old Testament prophets, various New Testament testimonies, and certain divine attributes, it is proven that Jesus Christ is unique in that He and God are one.
The Bible clearly exclaims, in numerous instances, that Jesus is, in fact, God. Beginning with Genesis and the expectation of the coming of Christ; to Revelations where Jesus declares He is ‘Lord of Lords’, lay numerous scriptures that establish Jesus’ role as God. Jesus’ Equality and Identity with God (Letham p. 40); Jesus’ Works as Creator and Judge (Letham p. 44); Jesus as Savior (Letham, p. 45), and throughout the Bible, the indisputable fact of Jesus’ deity is evident. Though many, many other belief systems certainly exist, the following will show many examples of the deity of Christ.
