James Dunleavy was born in 1843, at Kelso, Bathurst, his parents were James and Johanna Dunleavy. James’s mother Johanna Cleary arrived as a single female, free immigrant on the ship 'Alfred' in January 1841, from Tipperary Ireland, with a cousin Bridget Cleary. James parents married in 1843.
