For those careers and businesses, we try to offer students with different alternatives, like a one-to-one meeting or a career that is

He starts out with demographics, which he explains where his market would be. In this instance he uses the River Park, as a place as an example of where we can place our future business. This is important, because it’s very realistic, because there is a lot of open land to build there if anyone is looking to start up a business. He then he goes on to ethnics and age, elaborating on how that’s important when choosing what industry or business you want to open up. What he talks about relates a lot to what we are currently doing in class. Looking for who or what market we are targeting when we develop our pitches. Then he goes on to leakage and shows what businesses we currently have in Porterville, and what we are against if we start up a business in the area. So this ties back to what the community demands and who our potential competitors would be. His job is to go out and look for businesses that we don’t currently have, and bring them to Porterville. So I’m assuming he’s very good at networking, and getting to know others, since he reaches out to big companies and negotiates whether or not they would like to sustain a business here.

Also, it offer support to individuals when trying to decide on a career. The data base serve as a tool “for innovative learning delivery systems that should help workers develop skills and increase and broaden general and industry specific knowledge” (Zunker, 2012, p. 177). However there are some disadvantages in occupational information sources that can limit an individual from becoming fully aware of their possible opportunities for future employment. This may include but are not limited to both ethical or legal concerns about sufficient security measures and individuals solely relying on the computer-assisted career guidance system. The O’NET, Monster, and the Occupational Outlook Handbook are resources available to individuals that are
