Ancient Egyptian civilisation were located along in the tomb of pharaohs and was discovered in 1922 by Howard carter, uncovering king Tutankhamun’s tomb played an immense role in discovering ancient Egyptian civilisation. The discovery of king Tutankhamun’s death mask has been significant for improving modern understanding of Egyptian civilisation to a substantial extent, this is because the tomb of king Tutankhamun reveals how Egyptian civilisation believed in life, death and the afterlife. All of this can be seen through the analysis of the context, purpose and significance.
